Last but very important Medical reason for squeaky, wheezy sound, especially while feeding, crying, or lying on the back, may be due to Laryngomalacia / Tracheomalacia.

👉 It happens when the airway cartilage is soft and floppy, so it partially collapses during breathing.
👉 Very common in newborns
👉 Sounds scary, but most babies outgrow it by 12–18 months

🚨 When to see a doctor?
* Poor feeding or choking
* Bluish lips
* Severe chest retractions
* Poor weight gain

💬 Reassurance for parents:
Most cases need observation, not surgery, just regular follow-up with your pediatrician.

Noisy breathing ≠ lung disease always.
Sometimes it’s just a growing airway 💙

Most parents don’t realise this 👇
Rabies is 100% fatal once symptoms start, but also 100% preventable if handled smartly before an exposure.

This reel talks about a proactive approach many parents are now choosing rabies pre-exposure vaccination for children.
Why? Because emergencies don’t give you time to think, run, or search for hospitals.

This is not fear-mongering.
This is informed parenting.

💬 Let’s talk:
Would you consider pre-exposure rabies vaccination for your child?

⚠️ STOP scrolling if your baby wears jewellery!
Loose chains & bracelets can turn into choking or strangulation hazards in seconds.

👶 When in doubt—take it out!
Your baby needs comfort and safety, not accessories.

The “common culprit” is finally revealed!...and it’s NOT dust. 😷
More than half the patients who come to me with “dust allergy” are actually reacting to something living inside their homes…something so tiny, you cannot see it with your eyes yet it triggers sneezing, runny nose, blocked nose and irritation instantly.

Yes, I’m talking about dust mites. If your child struggles with constant sneezing or a blocked nose, understanding this ONE fact can change everything.

Allergies are manageable and sometimes even treatable with the right diagnosis and care. ❤️
Share this post with another parent it might help them understand their child’s sneezing episodes better.

Not every cough or sniffle but if you see these signs: Keep your child home!

Sending a child to school when they have a fever, vomiting, diarrhea or persistent cough doesn’t just risk their health, it can spread infection to entire classrooms. As a pediatrician, I recommend a calm, cautious approach over rushing attendance.

😷 Masks are a simple way to reduce spread during peak respiratory season, but they’re not the same for every child.
If your child has 👉
⚠️ Breathing difficulty
⚠️ Persistent distress, or
⚠️ You notice cyanosis (blue lips),
Remove the mask and seek emergency care! For everyday protection, combine vaccination, good ventilation, hand hygiene, and staying home when sick.

Nighttime fever 🤒 spikes are one of the biggest panic-triggers for parents but most of the time they’re explainable and manageable. Your child’s internal clock (circadian rhythm), falling cortisol, mucus pooling when lying down, and small changes in hydration all make fever look worse in the dark.
📌Save this post for the next sleepless night.

My personal journey through gestational diabetes (GDM) in all 3 pregnancies taught me one thing:
small consistent habits can transform your health more than strict diets ever will.

In my first 2 pregnancies, I relied heavily on insulin and struggled with cravings, stress, and inconsistent meals. I worked till the end of pregnancy, stayed active, and followed simple routines that kept my sugars stable and my mind calm.

To every mother managing gestational diabetes:
💪 You are stronger than you think.
💪 Your body is capable.
💪 Your pregnancy can still be joyful, peaceful, and healthy.
You’re not alone. And you can do this. 🤍
