“बस पास ही तो जाना है…” How many times have we said this while travelling with our child? “गोद में बैठा लेते हैं… क्या ही होगा?”
The truth is love can comfort a child, but it cannot protect them in an accident. Sometimes the smallest safety decisions make the biggest difference.
And when it comes to our children, “थोड़ी दूर” should never mean “थोड़ा unsafe.” If you’re a parent, you’ll understand why this matters. ❤️

📌 Share it with a parent who still says “गोद में बैठा लेते हैं.”

A parent recently shared this experience during a consultation. Their 2-year-old was watching 7–8 hours of TV every day. After medical advice, they completely stopped screen exposure.
And within just one month, the parents noticed changes:
✨ Better eye contact
✨ Responding to people
✨ Saying simple greetings like hi, bye, hello

This is a powerful reminder for parents. 📱 Excessive screen exposure in toddlers can sometimes affect social interaction, communication and attention skills. social development.
⚠️ If you notice signs like poor eye contact, delayed speech, or lack of response, consult a pediatrician early. Early guidance can help tremendously. ❤️ Parents this is not about guilt. It’s about awareness. Sometimes we rely on screens because of busy schedules or household work. But small changes today can have a big impact on your child’s development.

💕Thank you to the parents for kindly allowing this interaction to be shared for educational awareness.

One of the most common panic calls pediatricians receive from new mothers. 📞

Many parents assume that if a mother is 🤧 , breastfeeding should stop immediately⚠️. But in most cases, the opposite is actually true.😲

✅ When a mother develops infections like fever, cough, or cold, her body naturally produces protective antibodies to fight the illness. These same protective antibodies pass to the baby through breast milk, helping strengthen the baby’s developing immune system.

😄 This means that continuing breastfeeding during common illnesses can actually support your baby’s immunity rather than harm it.

You can have the best doctors, medicines, and care around… But when a child gets scared,
they still search for one face in the room.
The one that makes everything okay.

Just Mumma.♥️

✈️ Travel Food for Kids: Smart, Not Junk

Travel doesn’t mean
❌ biscuits
❌ juices
❌ daily packaged snacks

As a pediatrician, I tell parents — travel food can still be nutritious, if planned smartly.

For journeys, I look for options that are:
✔ easy to carry
✔ no added sugar or preservatives
✔ minimal ingredients
✔ child-friendly texture

That’s why Dino Dine freeze-dried foods can be a useful option during travel .

Remember 👇
🥣 Home-cooked food = gold standard
📦 Packaged food = backup, not routine

Parenting is about balance, not perfection.

💾 Save this for your next trip

This is one of the most common worries parents bring to the OPD. But here’s the truth most parents don’t realize 👇 Comment “Toddler” to get a detailed guide video on “Why your 15 Month Old Baby Not Eating? Real Reasons Explained“

After 1 year of age, a child’s growth naturally slows down. Which means appetite will fluctuate too.

And many times the real problem is not the child, it’s the habits we unknowingly create. All of this slowly disconnects a toddler from their natural hunger cues. A healthy toddler may eat very little one day and surprisingly well the next and that’s completely normal. So if your toddler is active, playful and growing well… Don’t panic.

Sometimes the best thing you can do is simply step back and trust their appetite. Tell me honestly: what is the ONE thing your toddler refuses to eat?

At 2 AM, every sound feels scary😰. That fast breathing. That little noise from the chest. And suddenly Google says ☠️“congestion”, “infection”, “emergency”.⚠️

But many times, it’s not the lungs. It’s the pillow.

Newborns naturally breathe faster, it’s called periodic breathing. When you place a pillow under their head, the neck bends forward. The airway narrows. The sound gets louder. And panic begins.

A baby doesn’t need a pillow for a round head. They need a straight airway for safe sleep. Small positioning mistakes can create big anxiety.

Before assuming illness, check how your baby is sleeping.

We wait for diseases to happen. This is one cancer we can stop before it even starts.🎗️

Cervical cancer is not about bad luck🙅‍♀️. It’s caused by a virus🦠. And today, we actually have the power to prevent it with a simple vaccine.💉

Still, many families skip it because of hesitation, myths, or “we’ll do it later.” Later is exactly what turns prevention into regret.

If protection is available, safe, and even free right now the real question is:
Why miss the chance to protect the girls we love⁉️

Holi has changed. Colours are brighter. Stronger. More chemical than before.🌈😷

And every year, pediatric clinics see the same problems: skin reactions, eye injuries, breathing irritation all preventable.👩‍⚕️

Children don’t need fewer celebrations. They need safer ones. A little preparation before Holi can prevent days of discomfort later.

✅ Share this with family, schools, and fellow parents, because safety works best when everyone follows it.

Every season, I hear the same thing: “Doctor, weather change ho gaya… isliye infection ho gaya.”😰🦠
But viral infections don’t happen because your child felt cold. They spread because children meet, play, share spaces, and pass viruses to each other.

What actually makes things worse?
Overdressing a child especially during fever. Too many layers trap heat, increase discomfort, and can even lead to dehydration or rashes.

Children don’t need protection from weather. They need comfort, movement, and sensible layering according to temperature. Sometimes, less is actually better care.

Many parents worry 😨 when they see dark stains on their child’s teeth after starting iron and the first thought is to stop the supplement. But in most cases, this staining is not harmful. It happens because liquid iron can temporarily stick to the surface of the teeth, especially if it stays in the mouth for longer.

✅ Iron is still very important for your child’s growth, brain development, and prevention of anemia. Instead of stopping it, small changes in how it’s given can reduce staining while keeping the benefits.

If you’ve noticed this with your child, you’re not alone it’s a common concern and usually manageable with the right technique.
