🚨 Autism Parents in India — Don’t Ignore This Important Test!
Have you heard about the FRAT Test (Folate Receptor Antibody Test)?
This advanced test is gaining attention globally for identifying folate absorption issues in children with autism 🧠
👉 Many children may not properly utilize folate, even if their diet looks healthy
👉 This can impact brain development, speech, behavior, and cognitive growth
⚠️ The reality:
While countries like the USA are actively researching and using this test,
❌ Awareness in India is still VERY LOW
💡 Why FRAT Test matters:
✔️ Helps detect underlying biological factors in autism
✔️ Supports more targeted therapy & intervention planning
✔️ Can guide parents toward better decision-making
👨‍👩‍👧 If your child shows:
• Speech delay
• Poor understanding
• Low eye contact
• Repetitive behavior
• Hyperactivity or sensory issues
👉 It’s time to explore deeper, not just surface-level therapy
✨ Early detection = Better progress
At Wonderkidz, we focus on root-cause-based therapy approach, not just symptoms

🌙 Sleep Issues in Autism? Try This Before Melatonin!
Many parents of children with autism struggle with sleep issues 😴
Doctors often recommend melatonin medication to help regulate sleep cycles…
But what if we support sleep naturally first? 💡
👉 Occupational therapy activities can play a BIG role in improving sleep in autistic kids!
💪 Try these daily:
✔️ Bear Walk
✔️ Crab Walk
✔️ Commando Crawl
✔️ Hurdle Jumping
These sensory-motor activities help:
✨ Release excess energy
✨ Improve body awareness
✨ Regulate the nervous system
✨ Promote deep, restful sleep
💤 When kids are physically active, their body naturally prepares for better sleep—reducing dependency on melatonin medication (under professional guidance).
📌 Consistency is key! Just 20–30 minutes of structured OT activities daily can make a huge difference.

🚨 Parents NEED to see this truth about Kinder Joy 🚨
That “happy chocolate moment” 🍫 is actually affecting your child’s focus, behaviour & brain development.
❌ Hidden sugars
❌ Artificial additives
❌ Hyperactivity triggers
If your child is showing:
👉 No attention
👉 Sudden mood swings
👉 Hyperactivity
This could be the reason.
As an occupational therapist, I see this daily — diet directly impacts autism, ADHD, and child behaviour.
👉 Small changes in food = BIG changes in focus & learning
⚠️ Don’t ignore what your child eats. It’s shaping their brain every day.
Save this & share with parents who still think chocolate is harmless.

1. Heavy Work Activities (Calming the Nervous System)
Why it works: Deep pressure input helps regulate emotions and reduce meltdowns.
Activities:
Pushing a wall (10–15 seconds × 5 reps)
Carrying books/grocery bags
Animal walks (bear walk, crab walk)
👉 Best before transitions or when child is overwhelmed.
2. Calm Down Corner (Self-Regulation Space)
Why it works: Teaches the child to identify emotions and self-soothe.
Setup at home:
Soft pillows or bean bag
Favorite toy
Visual emotion chart (happy, sad, angry)
Stress ball / fidget
👉 Teach child: “When upset → go to calm corner”
3. Breathing Games (Make it Fun)
Why it works: Controls physiological arousal (heart rate, anxiety).
Activities:
Blow bubbles slowly
Candle blowing (real or pretend)
Use a straw to blow paper ball across table
👉 Make it playful, not forced.
4. Sensory Bottle / Glitter Jar
Why it works: Visual calming tool that promotes focus and reduces emotional overload.
How to make:
Bottle + water + glitter + glue
Shake → watch it settle
👉 Use during tantrums or overstimulation

Autism self laughter is NOT always “happiness” ❌
It can be a sign of emotional regulation difficulty, sensory overload, or an upcoming meltdown.
Many parents feel confused when their child shows inappropriate laughter in autism — but this is often the brain trying to cope, not misbehavior.
In autism spectrum disorder, challenges with emotional regulation, sensory processing, and communication can lead to:
• sudden laughing without reason
• emotional outbursts
• meltdowns in kids
This is where occupational therapy plays a huge role

Parent feedback that melts our hearts ❤️
When this autism parent joined the Wonderkidz Online Program, they didn’t just see small changes… they saw their child become calmer, more focused, and more connected.
Through primitive reflex integration, occupational therapy strategies, and sensory regulation activities, children can build stronger brain–body connections.
Many autism behaviours like hyperactivity, poor attention, emotional outbursts and learning struggles can be linked to retained primitive reflexes. When we work on integrating them, children start showing real developmental progress.
This is why our Wonderkidz Online Autism Program focuses on brain development, primitive reflex integration and parent training at home.
Every child deserves the right support. Early therapy and the right guidance can make a huge difference.
✨ Real parents. Real progress. Real hope.
