October 2019, I signed up for one of the most challenging trekking trips so far, Tillicho Lake, Manang Area, Nepal - 4919m above sea level. One of the most exhilarating experiences of my life!! It was 8 days of complete digital detox, physically challenging & minimalistic (living off a bag pack, huts with no electricity, no running water & dal chawal as the only available food). I have always been a strong propagator of mountain trips as a way of rejuvenation, but this trip had a far stronger effect on me; living a basic life for 8 days in such breathtaking sites instilled a positive energy in me. It took me on a journey of a lifetime, completely forgot all my daily life stresses & enjoyed every breath! @ Nepal

I went to Bali after my pregnancy. With society telling me all sorts of things, giving their opinions as to how I shouldn't be leaving my 1 year old. I wanted to go with my best friend. And I did. My soul, my heart and my mind needed this refreshment. Amazing beaches, beautiful sunsets, the first trek of my life. All now a beautiful memory. I am glad I went. Travel is the best gift you can give yourself.

One of the best experiences of my life so far! The freedom. The fear. All of it melding together in a cacophony of beauty of everything around me. My mom posted this quote earlier and I find it very fitting, it was spoken by a terminal cancer patient but I feel that it could be the words of so many of us. Those dealing with depression, anxiety, addiction, etc. For anyone truly, we never know when that last breath will come. We have but this one beautiful life and journey, I don’t want to miss an opportunity or lose a moment to feel so abundantly alive: “Don’t be sad for me, we all come to this world to be tourists, enjoy life, go sightseeing, do good deeds, I just so happen to be leaving earlier than others". I hope you embrace your journey gems, however it may unfold. 😊

It involves a strategic set of techniques based on psychological principles backed by scientific research, the creativity of arts, the power of the natural environment and the flow of travel.
