Saying No is difficult and in some places, almost impossible. Do we ponder what stops us from taking a stand for what is right for us? Is it the shame, the embarrassment, the fear of being misjudged or what may happen if we say 'NO' or the constant need to fit in and please others? Whatever the reason is, we leave ourselves behind each time. We mask our feelings and project what is not. We suffer, we fight inside and we give up. That's where we are wrong. Start saying 'NO' for if you don't take a stand for yourself, you won't respect yourself neither would they. The first time will always be full of doubt and will seem like the worst. But as you keep taking a stand, you will realize what were you missing all this time... The respect and the worth you deserved.

We all need people around us. People who are there to listen, help and bring the best in us. We all need those friends who we can bend to during our bad days and cheer with during the good times. But what if your friends poison you?
We need people to pull us up not drop us deeper in pain. If someone puts toxicity in you, it is time you space them out because litter, if kept in the house stinks. Keep the right people around as the company you have reflects the life you have. Keep good people, stay happy 😊

Every time you encounter a situation, it is the lens you chose to view makes the difference not the situation at hand. Everything has two aspects: A positive one and a negative. It is upon us to decide which aspect we give important to and view and which aspect we block. If you really want to stay happy in each situation, all you need to do today and always, is change your lens. Start seeing the positives: What the situation has to offer you or where is it taking you next. Believe me, you will start being happy in every situation and life will smoothen. Live this moment as everything around us is a situation, a happy situation 😊

Approval comes from within. If you don't respect Yourself, no one will. Start with appreciating the smallest of your own gestures and achievements per day. If you wait for someone patiently today, acknowledge it. Tell yourself that you are a patient person. If you end up making great coffee today, say out loud 'What a coffee'. I am so good at it. Small appreciation gestures directed towards self per day will help creating a positive self image and fulfillment. Start this exercise today. Love yourself cz all you got is you. Cherish it😊
