2nd April is being observed as the World Autism Awareness Day worldwide. Autism affects the way the brain processes information, and often prevent individuals from understanding what they see, hear and otherwise sense, resulting in difficulties in social relationships, communication and behaviour.

Dear Parents, Autism is a complex condition. If you suspect your child may have autism, start intervention right away. Don't wait for your child to be 'older' or till she/he receives a diagnosis.

While Europe has already moved to Euro 6 emission norms for diesel vehicles, our government plans to introduce Euro 5 by 2020. Today, 50% of Delhi's vehicles are driven on diesel which emits upto 12 times more particulate matter than petrol.
A move to Euro 5 norms will cut emission of PM 2.5 by 80% and also reduce the deadly sulphur content in diesel by 10 ppm. Such measures are the need of the hour and 2020 will be too late. It really is high time to move to Euro 5, or even Euro 6, right now.

We need to be kinder with one another, more gentle and forgiving. We need to be slower to anger and more prompt to help. We need to extend the hand of friendship and resist the hand of retribution. As one should not forget that wealth is not to feed our egos, but to feed the hungry and to help people to help themselves.
