Ever felt like you’re watching yourself from the outside?
That strange disconnected feeling can be unsettling.
Depersonalization isn’t danger — it’s your mind asking for care.
You’re not broken, and you’re not alone.
Save this if it helped put words to the feeling 💜

Are you living for yourself or for people’s opinions? 🤯
FOPO — the Fear of People’s Opinion — is more common than we realize. We all face it: when we hesitate to speak our dreams aloud, when we shrink our goals, when we hide who we really are… just to avoid judgment.

🧠 In this heartfelt message, SFCT President Meena Gupta shares:
✨ What FOPO really is
✨ Why it damages our self-worth
✨ How to slowly reclaim your confidence
✨ Why you should be your own best critic

Let’s stop living on other people’s terms.
This is your life. You get to decide the pace, the dreams, the story.

Did you know your mind can affect your body?
Chronic emotional stress isn’t just “in your head”—it can weaken your immune system and lead to real, physical illness.

🧠💔➡️🤒 From fatigue and headaches to long-term health issues, unaddressed mental stress can take a toll on your body too.
Let’s start recognizing the deep mind-body connection—and take care of both.

Accommodating social anxiety: Value your individuality, accept yourself in the face of uncertainty, and begin small where you feel at ease. Be patient, cautiously enter social situations, and ask for assistance when necessary. Every step is a new chapter, every talk a new story. Keep your bravery up; people will be drawn to your authenticity and individuality. 💙🤝

Ever been sure about a memory… and later realised it wasn’t quite true?

That’s how false memories can feel — real, emotional, convincing.
Not made up. Not intentional. Just confusing.

Understanding the mind is the first step to clarity.
Save this if it made you pause.

Ever heard of Factitious Disorder? 🩺🧠
It’s a rare but serious mental health condition where someone fakes, exaggerates, or even induces illness — not for money or gain, but to feel cared for, noticed, or validated.

✨ Signs to look out for:
– Inconsistent medical history
– Symptoms that don’t align with test results
– Frequent hospital visits with vague complaints
– Eagerness for unnecessary procedures
– Symptoms worsening when treatment succeeds

💡 Possible causes:
– Childhood trauma or neglect
– History of frequent illness in family/self
– Low self-esteem or identity struggles
– Deep need for attention and care

🌱 Support is possible.
Therapies like psychotherapy and family support can help address emotional needs and build healthier coping strategies. At SFCT, we work with individuals and families to replace stigma with empathy and healing.

💬 Did you know about this condition before today?

🚨 FOMO Can Feel Overwhelming – But You Don’t Have to Face It Alone! 🚨
If the pressure to keep up is affecting your peace of mind, it’s okay to seek support. Talking to a professional can help you navigate emotions, build confidence, and embrace the present moment. 💛✨
Your well-being matters. Don’t let comparison steal your joy—take the first step towards a healthier mindset. 🌿💬

“They’re in love with me… I just know it.” 💔
If someone truly believes another person — often a public figure or stranger — is secretly in love with them (despite no real connection), it could be Erotomania.

Also known as De Clérambault’s Syndrome, erotomania is a rare delusional disorder where the individual is convinced of a one-sided romantic relationship that doesn’t exist.

🚨 It can lead to:
🔹 Persistent stalking or messages
🔹 Emotional distress when “ignored”
🔹 Misinterpreting normal behavior as secret signals

It’s not obsession or infatuation — it’s a mental health condition that needs compassionate support and clinical intervention.

💬 At SFCT, we aim to bring awareness to such lesser-known syndromes and offer therapy that’s grounded in empathy, education, and healing.

📍Let’s talk about the mental health stories no one talks about.
