A significant milestone has been achieved with the launch of the cashless service under Ayushman Asom – Mukhya Mantri Lok Sevak Arogya Yojana (AA-MMLSAY) on 29th October 2025 by Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma at Janata Bhawan, Dispur.
The Cashless Module under AA-MMLSAY enhances convenience for Government Employees, Pensioners of Assam, and their dependents by enabling cashless treatment at CGHS rates in empanelled hospitals.
Under AA-MMLSAY both reimbursement and cashless modules will function simultaneously, offering beneficiaries dual access to medical care as per their needs.
The Cashless medical treatment is being implemented in select public hospitals and leading private hospitals of the State and from across the Country.
During the launch, Hon’ble Chief Minister also distributed MMLSAY cards and launched the digital newsletter of the scheme marking a major step towards accessible and hassle-free healthcare for our Lok Sevaks.
