Squint, also known as strabismus, is a common eye condition where one or both eyes turn inward, outward, upward, or downward instead of looking straight ahead. This misalignment can occur in children of any age and may be constant or intermittent. Early detection and treatment are crucial, as untreated squint can lead to lazy eye (amblyopia) and permanent vision problems. The good news is that squint is highly treatable with options including glasses, eye patches, exercises, or surgery depending on the severity. If you notice your child's eyes not working together or appearing misaligned, consult an eye care professional for proper evaluation and treatment.

Operated this child for squint a week ago. The child greeted me with a confident smile on her face on her one week follow up.Her Dad told me, that she stands in front of mirror the whole day and keeps smiling.She has got her confidence and smile back.I feel so happy that I could help this child. Blessed.
