Gout and hyperuricemia.
Many patients come to the OPD with vague joint aches and are taking gout medications for modest rise in uric acid. But should we treat every case of raised uric acid level with medicines? NO.
While gout patients need acute treatment in most of the cases, only rise in uric acid level(hyperuricemia) does not need treatment, and patient has to be fully assessed before treatment is given.
kindly take advise from a qualified medical practitioner before taking any medication.
