Simple words .....means alot
Few days back a pt 65yr old male post CABG ,reached to nearby clinic with history of sudden fall and loss of consciousness.
His son started chest compression at home and reached to nearby clinic where it was told that pt is very serious and need urgent cardiac intervention and immediately with the help of hospital staff CPR was started and shifted to our centre at 2 am in comatose conditions, pt was having sinus arrest and asystole,immediately mechanical ventilation was done ,continuing CPR
Pt was shifted to cath LAB
Temporary pacing was done
On high inotropes and 100 percent o2 pt was shifted to icu ,
On next day pt become conscious and inotropes weaned off gradually.
On day 3 permanent pacemaker was done .
Pt discharged on day 5 .
