Patient Profile:
- Age/Gender: 24-year-old Female
- Condition: L4-L5 Left Lateral Recess Stenosis
- Occupation: Healthcare Worker
- Symptoms:
- Debilitating left predominant pain for 1 year
- Straight Leg Raise (SLR): 40° on the left side

Initial Approach:
Routine Percutaneous Endoscopic Lumbar Discectomy (PSLD) was performed under spinal anaesthesia. The procedure was challenging due to the patient’s heightened anxiety, resulting in poor visibility and unexpected neck discomfort.

Decision:
Recognizing anxiety as the primary factor, the surgery was cautiously aborted to ensure patient safety and optimal surgical conditions.

Outcome:
Within 12 hours, the surgery was resumed successfully after addressing the patient’s anxiety. The procedure was completed without complications, delivering excellent outcomes and significant pain relief.
