Dr. Vikram Jain brings with him a rich experience in knee & hip joint replacement surgery and arthroscopic of knee and shoulder. He has more than a 20 years of experience in knee and hip replacement surgery and various kinds of arthroscopic surgeries; ACL & PCL reconstruction, Meniscus repair, Recurrent shoulder dislocation and Rotator Cuff injury in India and abroad. Dr. Jain has performed more than 8,000 joint replacement and arthroscopic surgeries with a high success rate. Dr. Jain is currently heading the Department of Orthopedics and Joint Replacement, Aadhar Health Institute, Hisar, Haryana. He started his medical education in 1991 from University College of Medical Sciences, Delhi, did post graduation from Lady Hardinge Medical College and associated with Dr. R.M.L Hospital, Shri Sutchet Kriplani Hospital & Kalawati Saran Hospital, New Delhi. After concluding 3 year of Senior
Residency from the same Institute, he joined the prestigious AIMS for fellowship training in joint
replacement. period, Dr. Jain had the privilege of working with the world renowned experts of joint replacement and arthroscopy in India and abroad. Returning back to his hometown, Hisar, he joined Jindal Institute of Medical Sciences, where he started in the program of arthroplasty and joint replacement for the first time in the region. Keen to upgrade his knowledge Dr. Jain did a number of short term training like knee
arthroscopy from Safdarjung Hospital, orthopaedic oncology from Tata Memorial Hospital, shoulder arthroscopy from Deenanath Mangeshkar hospital, hip replacement from Exeter Centre, UK. Dr. Jain pioneered the concept of low cost joint replacement in tier Ill cities. He has successfully brought the concept of navigated knee replacement, laminar air flow, gender specific knee implant, oxinium knee,elbow/shoulder replacement and shoulder arthroscopy to a part of India where they did not exist. He is also associated with a number of sports personalities and coaches in injury prevention and treatment using key hole arthroscopic treatment. His main area of expertise now is hip and knee joint replacement, along with knee and shoulder arthroscopy with a special focus on oxinium knee replacement products. His latest passion is robotic knee replacement with emphasis on personalised alignment.
