Concluding session of the "Online Certificate Course in Diabetic Foot and PVD management" yesterday.

I discussed the application of Shasthi Upakrama in Diabetic Foot and PVD management.

We would like to thank Dr Sunil Kari sir for accepting our invitation and teaching us the basics of Diabetic Foot and its Management. He has inspired and motivated all of us through his evidence based approach.

We were successful in covering the etiology, Patho-physiology, Differential Diagnosis and Clinical Approach and Management Protocols of Diabetic Foot and PVD both from Ayurveda and Modern perspectives.

We would like to thank all the participants for registering and supporting us in this Course.

We have received an overwhelming response and feedback from the participants which motivates us to organise such events.

We will be shortly announcing our next events.

Day 6 of the Online Certificate Course in Diabetic Foot and PVD management yesterday.

Dr Anita Kadagad Kembhavi talked about the "Role of Panchakarma in Diabetic Foot and PVD management".

Samhita based references, directions, do's and don'ts, caution and protocols were discussed in the management of Pre-Diabetic Foot stage, Diabetic Foot, Diabetic Foot with Neuropathy and Diabetic Foot with Neuro-ischaemic presentations.

Clinical experience with Ayurveda herbs and formulations including the benefits of Virechana and Basti was presented.

Today she will be presenting on the topic - "Role of Diet, Lifestyle and Yoga in Diabetic Foot and PVD management".

Day 5 of the Online Certificate Course in Diabetic Foot and PVD management.

Dr Sunil Kari covered the management protocol of Diabetic Foot, Diabetic Foot Ulcer and Diabetic Foot Infections including Bio-mechanics of Foot and the emerging Science of Foot Wear engineering.

Ankle Brachial Index measurement, Mono filament testing and Tuning Fork test of the Foot were explained.

Dr Sunil Kari highlighted the importance of knowing the basics of the Foot as well as the importance of basic clinical skills and common sense in assessing the clinical presentation.

It was a great session with lots of questions from the delegates and an eye opener for a clinician and a surgeon.

Day 4 of the Online Certificate Course in Diabetic Foot and PVD management yesterday.

Nearly 30 different Clinical presentations of Neuropathic, Ischaemic and Neuro-ischaemic foot were discussed by Dr Sunil Kari in an interactive session and he stressed on the basic clinical skills and challenged our mindset to Diabetic Foot. It was one of the most interactive session and the participants including us learnt a lot.
