While we start out like the rabbit, ready to do anything (even follow crash and unscientific diets) which will give us instant results, it is important to understand that crash diets don't work in the long run. Any crash diet will help you lose weight instantly but most often at the cost of your health.
Most people who follow these crash diets without supervision from a qualified professional complain of hair loss, weakness, low energy levels and often bounce back with the same or more weight that they have lost.
Time to think and Act SMART like the turtle. Slow, steady ,safe, sustainable and affordable are the key words. A qualified dietician/nutritionist will take a detailed history, understand your lifestyle, eating habits, physical activity, stress levels, medical conditions if any, sleep pattern, cultural habits, work schedule, likes and dislikes, take into consideration your body composition ,medication and then plan a customised diet to suit your p. She/he will make sure it is a balanced diet providing all the essential macro and micronutrients. It is not a “one size fit all , starvation, monotonous , crash diet” which the nutrition quacks will advise.
Make your choices wisely. Embark on a fitness journey which helps you gain health and adds life to your years. Make small, gradual changes which you can continue in the long run.
