ESIC's 2019 calendar is based on the theme of efforts made recently by ESIC to empower the IPs by providing improved health care services. This includes the technology driven 'ESIC- Chinta Se Mukti Mobile App' which empowers the IPs to access their ESIC details, information about the benefits of Atal Bimit Vyakti Kalyan Yojna and thrust of actual vision of ESIC. This calendar is the tribute to the IPs who is the VIPs of ESIC.

New Delhi [India], Dec 6 (ANI): In a bid to increase healthcare coverage for the common people, the union government has decided to allow non-Insured Persons (IPs) to avail medical services from the underutilised ESIC hospitals after paying nominal user charges.

ESIC has started a landmark facility with 'Launching of IVR (Interactive Voice Response )' and 'Help Desk' for ESIC Toll Free No. - 1800-11-2526. The facility was launched formally on 10th Aug, 2018 by Sh. P. B. Mani, Addl. Commissioner, ESIC.

The callers are very much satisfied & happy to experience interactive response from 'Help Desk' for the first time. The facility has started with bang and hundreds of callers across the country have already been attended as of now. Apart from on the spot redressal of callers' queries, this facility also receives the complaints/ grievances simultaneously. Complaints requiring longer period are given unique ticket no. & forwarded to PG Portal of ESIC for early redressal.

Thanks to Sh. Santosh Gangwar ji ,Hon'ble MoS(IC) for Labour & Employment, Sh. Heeralal Samariya, IAS, Secretary, Labour & Employment and Sh. Raj Kumar, IAS, Director General, ESIC for their noble & people oriented decision and commitment to upgrade the facilities for ESI Beneficiaries. It has created a very strong & positive buzz towards ESIC social security of coverage & health care.
