Today is World Tuberculosis Day.
Tuberculosis remains one of the world’s deadliest infectious killers. In 2019, 91,000 people died of TB in the Western Pacific Region, and close to 1.8M people fell ill with this preventable and curable disease.
The clock is ticking. Even as we battle COVID-19, we need to find and treat everyone living with TB to save lives.
Let's not forget those who suffer, let's show our support to them and spread awareness about the disease to end it soon.
