I understand the pain of not being able to move, let alone exercise- I have been there!

With months of being unable to move with severe lower back pain, I was even asked by the doctors to not travel within the city for my college assignments, which were nearing submission time!

One of the most common questions I get from my clients - until they actually dive in for the “experience” of Breathwork with me!

Ofcourse, there is an overlap of benefits between the two methods!
I have practiced both. Both have their place.
I chose to deep- dive into Breathwork - be a student first and then guide others too…

Here is a simple Breathwork technique that can help you manage anxiety:

1) Find a quiet and comfortable place to sit or lie down

2) Close your eyes and take a deep breath in through your nose- filling in your lungs completely

3) Hold your breath for a few seconds and then slowly exhale through your mouth , releasing all the air from your lungs

4) Repeat this deep breathing pattern, focusing on the sensation of the air moving in and out of your body

5) As you continue to breathe in deeply, visualise yourself inhaling a sense of calm cooling air and exhaling and dissipating the tension from your body with every long exhale through your mouth

6) Repeat this technique for a few minutes or as long as you need to feel more relaxed and centred

NOTE: Breathwork can be a very powerful tool for managing anxiety but it is important to practice regular for best results.

When I feel overwhelmed or stressed, I remind myself to take a deep breath and remember who the REAL BOSS is! It's easy to lose sight of our own power and agency, but by taking a moment to breathe and ground myself, I can regain my composure and focus on what truly matters.

Just like a pilot must put on their oxygen mask before helping others in an emergency, we must take care of ourselves first in order to be able to help those around us. By taking a deep breath and grounding ourselves, we become better equipped to handle whatever challenges that come our way.
