The answer is YES.
Breastfeeding is often possible from the unaffected breast, even after surgery, chemotherapy, or radiotherapy. While milk secretion may be slightly reduced, feeding from the healthy breast is completely safe and beneficial.
Not only is breastfeeding good for the baby, it also helps reduce the future risk of breast cancer in the mother.
