Workshop: “Endorse the Validation”

After nearly five years of collecting and collating data with regards to patient care, Mission for Vision invited PRASHASA Health Consultants to conduct a thorough validation of our processes and tools. To disseminate our findings with all our partner hospitals across India, Mission for Vision organized a one day workshop titled “Endorse the Validation” in Chennai on 1st March 2013. The findings of the validation conducted by Prashasa Health Consultants of the processes and tools of MFV’s patient care audit was shared with all our partners.

The workshop was the huge success. All partner hospitals participated including Dr. S.S. Badrinath of Sankara Nethralaya. We received incredible support for the Patient Care Audit process of MFV. Based on the sessions, discussions and suggestions, necessary changes will be done to the patient care audit process, its sample size and tools to ensure it is more user-friendly. In the near future, this process will be packaged into a product that will be available to all eye care institutions, so that they too can take benefit of the same.
