The Mapmygenome Story
Most of you know our flagship product called Genomepatri and many of you have already done the test. Did you know that we have been in the genomics business for over 17 years. Would you like to know why our founder started Mapmygenome?
The reason was simple- They had been in the business for a long time working with large Pharma and biotech companies and had a wonderful product called Bioexpress database and a terrific genomics services division. As the world was approaching personalized medicine, the indian data seemed underrepresented. The other challenge was that healthcare was perceived as only “treating sickness” but we needed to change that. So, in order to reduce that inequality of genomic data and to help consumers prevent disease, Mapmygenome was born in 2013.
Today, Mapmygenome™ is a molecular diagnostics company that provides insights into the genetic basis about ourselves that include traits, drug responses, inherited conditions and diseases. By combining our genetic report and health history with genetic counseling Mapmygenome™ provides actionable steps for individuals and their physicians towards a healthier life.
Our products include the flagship product called Genomepatri, Oncomap, Brainmap, Cardiomap, Gynaecmap, Genomepatri Fit, SmartSport, SmartTB and several other diagnostic products.
