Kamineni Pain Management Centre (KPMC) was established in 2005 and has successfully made its mark in both acute and chronic pain management in the region. It has been excelling itself in providing pain relief to scores of people suffering from pain. The cutting edge equipments and the technology have made this centre a popular destination for people suffering from pain. KPMC unit is backed by professionals who are pioneers in the pain management at international level. The centre is headed by renowned Pain Specialist of the country, Dr. Muralidhar Joshi, who authored the "First ever Textbook of Pain Management" in the country. Under his able guidance the centre has become one of the most sought after facility for pain management in India. State-of-the-art equipments and committed professionals make Kamineni Pain Management Centre one of the best in the country. It is one of the unique centres in the country where professionals from across the globe visit to get trained to become good pain physicians. The centre has become torchbearer of academic expertise in the country by formulating guidelines for various training programme on par with international standards. The scientific study of pain has exploded in the last two decades. Keeping this in mind Kamineni Hospitals, Kingkoti, Hyderabad, has been running various activities in pain management like observership and fellowship in pain management. We have been offering the "First Fellowship Pain Management Programme in India" from 2005 onwards. The centre has a medical library with appropriate resources for providing training on pain management. The pain treatment facility has suitable space allocated for its clinical and educational activities. It has sufficient volume and variety of patients to provide the trainees with adequate educational opportunities.
