After a long time I am posting this. I had stopped taking orders since lockdown. But, recently I received a call to make JOAN'S Cake from a guy from Khadagpur. He wanted to give this cake to his friend who lives in Hyderabad on her birthday. First I was hesitating but he requested me to prepare and said it will be my comeback. I liked his sincerity 😊. I did not know what JOAN'S Cake is so asked some time before accepting the order. I googled about this cake. It has a very interesting romantic story from the 2011 malyalam movie Salt N' Paper. It's a three layered rainbow cake 🌈. He asked me to prepare in the same way it has shown in a movie. I accepted his order and made the cake in the same manner. 1st day strawberry, 2nd day pistachio and the 3rd day orange. Then frosted with whipped cream and covered with chocolate ganache. It was really fun to make this cake. I was happy that everyone liked the cake.
