📝 Recipe Drop:
Sprouted Moong & Puffed Rice Salad
(A crunchy, tangy, protein-packed chaat-style bowl)
🧺 Ingredients (Serves 2–3)
1 cup sprouted moong (steamed or raw if tender)
1 cup puffed rice (murmura)
½ cup finely chopped cucumber
¼ cup finely chopped red onion
¼ cup grated raw mango (or use lemon juice)
2 tbsp finely chopped coriander
1 green chili, chopped (optional)
1 tsp roasted cumin powder
Salt to taste
Juice of ½ lemon
Optional: a sprinkle of chaat masala
👩🍳 Prep Steps
1. Prep the Ingredients
If using raw moong sprouts, rinse well. For softer texture, steam for 2–3 minutes.
Ensure puffed rice is fresh and crisp — lightly dry-roast if needed.
2. Assemble the Salad
In a mixing bowl, combine sprouts, puffed rice, cucumber, onion, and mango.
Add green chili, coriander, cumin powder, salt, and lemon juice.
Toss everything well just before serving to retain crunch.
✅ Serve immediately as a snack, light lunch, or a side.
☀️ Perfect for warm days — hydrating, protein-rich, and super light on the gut!
