Today VoH Rehab Center joined the world in making World AIDS Day — a day of awareness, compassion, and hope.
Our community came together to learn, share, and break the stigma surrounding HIV/AIDS. We honored those we’ve lost, celebrated the strength of those living with HIV, and reaffirmed our commitment to education, prevention, and support.

Healing grows where understanding begins.

We’re proud to have partnered with CoNE for today’s health camp as part of International Testing Week 2025.
Our clients received free screening, vaccination, and counselling in a safe and supportive environment.

At Vision of Hope, we believe recovery also means taking care of your health — and today’s camp helped our community learn, protect, and take responsibility for their wellbeing.

The HIV/STI screening conducted at Vision of Hope Rehab Center in partnership with Alliance India was professional, respectful, and well-organized. The staff created a safe and non-judgmental environment, making clients feel comfortable throughout the process. The screening was quick, confidential, and followed with clear explanations of the results and guidance for next steps. Overall, it was a supportive and empowering experience that reflects the center’s commitment to holistic health and recovery.

Our team from Vision of Hope Rehab Center had the privilege to participate in a two-day Capacity Building Program of Drug Rehabilitation Centre Addressing Rights & HIV/Hepatitis, organized in collaboration with the Department of Social Welfare, Govt. of Manipur, CADAP (Community Allegiance for Drug Use and Appropriate Practices), and MAMTA-HIMC.

This program was a milestone event — the result of two years of dedication and hard work by Mr. Rajiv Takhellambam, whose vision to strengthen rights-based recovery approaches truly came to life during these two days.
The discussion reminded us that upholding rights isn’t just about policies — it’s about our daily practice. From respecting privacy and informed consent to listening with empathy, we reflected on what it truly means to create a safe, respectful, and healing environment for our residents.
We returned from this program feeling re-energized and deeply inspired. It reminded us that recovery work is not just about sobriety — it’s about rights, health, and humanity.

A heartfelt thank you to Mr. Rajiv Takhellambam for his dedication and leadership, and to all the organizers and facilitators for creating such a meaningful learning experience. The spirit of collaboration and compassion we felt in those two days will continue to guide our work at Vision of Hope.
