This initiative not only provided our residents with essential health services but also promoted awareness, early detection, and prevention. Today June 26 2025, International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking is observed at VOH ,khongampat, organized by District Legal Services Authority,Imphal west .The event aimed to educate participants about the serious consequences of drug abuse and trafficking on individuals, families n society.
The highlight of the programme was a video visual show on drug prevention messages, which provided powerful information on how drugs affect the future. And an impactful speech delivered by lawyers from DALSA about legal consequences of drug trafficking n use, and also emphasised the importance of early awareness, prevention n support for victims.
The overall message is clean n strong: Drug abuse and trafficking devastate lives and harm the very fabric of society. The event encouraged us to stay informed, avoid risky behaviours and be advocate for a drug-free world.

An awareness programme on "Drug use, addiction and its impact" organized by Vision of Hope TRUST centre, Khongampat on 21 june 2025 at School of Nursing, porompat, Khabeisoi (M.C.V.I.S) with the aim of educating students on the dangers of drug use.
The session included presentation on types of drugs commonly misused, reasons why people fall into addiction and the devastating physical, emotional and social consequences. The speakers shared experience which left a deep impression on everyone and made a message more relatable and powerful.
The programme was highly informative and moved towards the awareness about the risks of drug use but also help to understand how addiction affects families and society as a whole.
Overall, the programme was impactfull and well organized. It successfully broke the myths and encouraged open questions n discussion. Such programme should be conducted in schools n communities. And it's essential for early intervention and building a drug free future.✌🏿☮️

An immense appreciation to the Alliance India and NTEP, Imphal west for tge intervention program regarding TB and HIV in our centre. The program offering check up on TB and blood sample collection for HIV testing.
This kind of program promotes detection and helps stop spreading the disease amongst the inmates and other staffs. We believe conducting this kind of intervention program is much crucial specially amongst the drug users community.
We like to thanks again to Alliance India and NTEP for bringing us such a program which is a necessity in every drug rehab centre. We'll always welcome you in the coming future for your services and compassionate gestures.@

Today, we are very proud of celebrating for our mate Mr. Kemmi for his 1st year clean sober birthday. All the staff of VOH n all the inmates feel honoured n inspired with the amazing things he have tried to accomplished in journey of sobriety. We've seen all the hard work he have put into recovery n have watched him come through some tough times. We know it takes courage to get sober but he beat 365 days without a single drugs. That's a big thing n hard journey to crossed by.
Best wishes n happy congrats to our friend. May this be filled with happines, joy n freedom for you.
