Imphal,the 27th October 2025: A one day Free Breast Cancer Awareness & Screening Camp has organized successfully at Karkinos Healthcare Manipur,Porompat. Around 100 female citizen were conducted Breast Clinical Examination out of which 18 female citizen provided free Mammography test and 14 female citizen did Free Ultrasound Screening. Dr. Y.Indibor Singh,HOD Radiology Oncology Department & Medical Superindent of Karkinos Healthcare Manipur presented a speech on the importance of early detection alongwith the causes and symptoms of Breast Cancer to all the attendees of the camp. Dr. S.Opendro Singh HOD Surgery Oncology alongwith Dr.T.Dhaneshore, Dr.Th.Nirpendra Singh, Dr.S.Rajesh Sharma were also present at the camp. Dr Purnima Irom,Radiologist of Karkinos Healthcare Manipur also took the responsibility of giving the Free Mammography and Ultrasonography to all the needy patients for diagnosis.

Imphal, 30th August 2025: Karkinos Healthcare Manipur organized a one day cancer awareness & early detection camp along with HPV vaccination drive in partnership with Manipur Government Health Department at PHSC(Health & Wellness Centre) Malom, Imphal West District. The camp was led by Dr. GS Moirangthem Director & CEO, Karkinos Healthcare Manipur alongwith with Dr.Paul Sebastian, Consultant-Clinical Operations and Governance(Early Detection), Dr. Rahul, Cluster Manager(Early Detection) and Mr. Imo Wahengbam, Lead Early detection and Screening, Karkinos Healthcare Manipur. Dr.K.Rajo, HOD-Anesthesiology, Karkinos Healthcare Manipur was also present in the camp.A total no of 117 citizens were participated out of which 46 children were given HPV vaccination. Clinical Breast Examination was also done to all female citizens. Oral visual examination was also done for all the citizens participated in the camp.

2 cancer patients were identified

Such camp will help the citizens to prevent cancer, raising awareness about risk factors and offering preventive services like vaccinations or screenings for diseases such as breast cancer, cervical cancer, oral cancer etc.

Karkinos Healthcare Manipur organised a Scientific program on “Whats needed to realize oncology precision medicine globally” at Imperial Hall Classic Grande, Chingmeirong.(Prof) Dr. Keith Flaherty,Director of Clinical Research at Massachusetts General Hospital Cancer Care, Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School and President-elect(2025-2026) of the American Association for Cancer Research, Senior Clinical Advisor to Karkinos share his ideas on guiding our translational research and the integration of cutting edge cancer treatment in India. Dr.R. Venkataramanan, Founder-CEO of Karkinos Healthcare Pvt.Ltd and Dr. Moni Kuriakose, Medical Director, Karkinos Healthcare Pvt.Ltd were also present in the scientific program.(Prof) Dr. GS Moirangthem Director & CEO and (Prof) Dr. Y. Indibor Medical Superintendent of Karkinos Healthcare Manipur were the chairpersons of the scientific session.
