World Su***de Prevention Week 2025 was observed at RIMS Campus from 10th to 16th September 2025 under the theme “Changing the Narrative on Su***de.”
The week-long campaign commenced with an awareness programme at the Dental College, RIMS, on World Su***de Prevention Day (10th September 2025). In the following days, awareness and sensitisation activities were carried out across the Psychiatry OPD and various hostels within the RIMS campus, engaging students and encouraging open discussions on mental health and su***de prevention.
The observance concluded with an interactive session at Banting Hall, RIMS on 16th September 2025, which was graced by the Medical Superintendent and the Dean (Academics). The programme featured valuable insights from Dr. S. Gojendra Singh, Head of the Department of Psychiatry, who highlighted the importance of awareness, empathy, and proactive intervention in addressing su***de and promoting mental well-being.
