We are extremely happy to share that we successfully performed the FIRST case in Central India of INARI FlowTriever–assisted removal of RA Mass in Transit, marking a major milestone in life-saving cardiac intervention.

Using the INARI FlowTriever system, a cutting-edge technology designed for minimally invasive clot and RA mass removal, we were able to restore the patient’s heart function in time and provide immediate, life-saving results.

A big thanks to our excellent medical team, cath lab staff, support team, and everyone who contributed to making this advanced procedure a success. 🙏

Medical research shows that heart attacks are more likely to occur in the morning, especially between 6 AM and noon. This is linked to our body’s circadian rhythm — the natural 24-hour internal clock that regulates bodily functions. In the early hours:
Blood pressure and heart rate rise: After waking, your heart works harder to pump blood, increasing cardiac stress.

Increased clotting tendency: Platelets are more active in the morning, making blood more prone to clot formation.

Hormonal surges: Stress hormones like cortisol spike in the morning, which can constrict arteries and trigger heart events.

These factors collectively make the morning a vulnerable time for cardiac incidents, especially for individuals with underlying heart conditions.
Takeaway: Morning routines like a gentle warm-up, avoiding sudden intense activity, and managing stress can help reduce morning heart risks.

It’s a common misconception that people with conventional pacemakers cannot fly. Medically proven evidence shows that most modern pacemakers are air travel-safe. Airports use security screening devices like metal detectors and body scanners, which rarely interfere with pacemaker function. However, strong magnetic fields, such as those in MRI machines, can affect pacemakers, so those are restricted.

Patients are advised to carry a pacemaker ID card and inform airline staff if needed. Long flights are generally safe, but consulting your cardiologist before travel is recommended to check your device function and battery status.

Happy to be a Mentor for the EAS Lipidology Mentor Connect Session, Mumbai (European Atherosclerosis Society).
Discussing why Lp(a) is a major risk enhancer, how women have unique risk factors, and why early screening for dyslipidemia matters—because in lipid management, lower is always better.

Empowering clinicians, improving outcomes. 💙
