The first part of the cycle prepares an egg to be released from the o***y, and builds the lining of the uterus. This is the Follicular phase. Once an egg is released, the second part of the cycle starts where the uterus and body are prepared to accept a fertilized egg, or to start the next cycle if pregnancy doesn’t happen. This is the Luteal phase.

The flu is enough to make the best of us turn miserable.

While the common cold has no cure, there are plenty of home remedies that can alleviate your symptoms and get you back to normal.

Recipe for Kadha:
To make this effective home remedy, you need
2 cups of water
1 inch of peeled ginger
3-4 black pepper
5-6 fresh basil leaves
½ tsp honey
a pinch of turmeric
2 inch cinnamon stick.

-Take water in a deep saucepan and boil it
-Add ginger, black pepper and cinnamon in a mortar and pestle and crush them all
-Once the water is boiled, add all the crushed ingredients along with basil leaves to the saucepan (make sure not to crush the basil leaves)
-Cook on medium heat for about 20 minutes or until the decoction is reduced to half
-Strain it in glass and add honey
-Your homemade kadha is ready!
