Extraordinary case done at MYH on 28th feb22. A bamboo stick penetrated into the brain via orbit accidently. Surprisingly pt had preserved vision and no gross neurological deficits.
A very rare case like this of course require very exhaustive understanding of approach lest not to injure optic nerve, extra-ocular muscles cavernous sinus, carotid artery or its branches. 5 Hours of meticulous surgery and pt is saved without any dedicits
