"CT-guided lung biopsy performed successfully ✅

In this case, the lung mass was peripheral and not approachable through bronchoscopy. On CT scan evaluation, we planned and directly proceeded with CT-guided lung biopsy.

Even with the possible risk of pneumothorax, the procedure was carried out with precision. Finally, we could reach the lesion and establish the diagnosis (Squamous cell carcinoma).

This case highlights the importance of accurate planning, imaging guidance, and clinical decision-making in interventional pulmonology.

🌟 What a Day! 🌟

Today began with an enriching lecture at Maharshi School, interacting with bright young students.

In our field of Interventional Pulmonology, we perform advanced procedures like:
✅ Bronchoscopy
✅ Biopsy
✅ Endobronchial Stenting
✅ CT-guided procedures

These interventions help us diagnose and treat critical lung diseases effectively. But beyond procedures, what truly matters is awareness.

One of the most overlooked conditions is childhood Asthma.
🫁 Children often struggle to explain their symptoms.
🫁 They cannot justify the severity of their breathlessness.
🫁 Many continue to suffer in silence.

That’s why education and counseling are as important as treatment.
👉 If it’s asthma, nebulizations and temporary medicines are not enough.
👉 The right treatment is inhaler-based therapy, which can change a child’s life.

Lungs are precious. 🌬️
Asthma is common, but with the right awareness and timely care, every child can breathe easier and live healthier.

🫁 Thoracoscopy-Guided Pleural Biopsy – Unexpected Finding 🫁

Today during thoracoscopy in a 59-year-old male with suspected pleural malignancy, we observed something unusual.

👉 The pleura revealed a vascular-looking mass lesion, highly suspicious for malignancy.
👉 On attempting biopsy, instead of bleeding (as expected), the lesion oozed pus-like material.
👉 Samples were taken for histopathology and microbiology, final report awaited.

💡 Message:
Pleural diseases can be deceptive. Even when lesions look malignant, unusual presentations can surprise us. That’s why thoracoscopy remains the gold standard for both direct visualization and biopsy of pleural pathologies.

A patient with esophageal cancer developed a tracheoesophageal fistula, leading to severe coughing while eating.
👉 To provide relief and dignity, we performed endobronchial stenting as part of palliative care.

⚡ I feel proud to say that I was the first to introduce and perform this advanced procedure in Jabalpur, at a time when no one else was doing it. Since then, I have successfully done many such life-changing interventions.

The pride of Madhya Pradesh, Jabalpur’s largest flyover, is already covered with spit stains even before being inaugurated. 🤦‍♂️

This is the result of yas culture – after drinking vodka and chewing tambaku, people shamelessly spit on public property. Instead of respecting the beauty of our city, we are destroying it with our own hands.

❌ Such behavior is unacceptable.
❌ If this continues, how can Jabalpur ever be No.1 in cleanliness?
