Hello to all. काफी दिनों की मशक्कत के बाद आखिर कर COVID की दूसरी लहर उतार पर है। साथ ही साथ एक और अच्छी ख़बर सुनने में आई हैं।अखिल भारतीय आयुर्विज्ञान संस्थान नई दिल्ली (AIIMS NEW DELHI) ने COVAXIN का परीक्षण बच्चो पर शुरू किया। बच्चो को 3 groups में बांटा गया है। हर group में तकरीबन 200 बच्चे हैं। ये परीक्षण दूसरे व तीसरे चरण में है, जल्दी ही बच्चों का भी वैक्सीनशन शुरू होने की आशंका है। इस लड़ाई को लड़ते लड़ते हम ओर आप काफी आगे तक आगये हैं बस एक आखरी छोर बचा हुआ है। हिम्मत रखे हौसला रखे। घर पर रहे बेवजह बाहर न निकले सुरक्षित रहे।

Hello to all. काफी समय बाद मौका मिला। पोस्ट इस बार आपके लिए भी है और हम डॉक्टर्स के लिए भी। जैसा कि आप सभी को पता है मध्य प्रदेश के डॉक्टर्स हड़ताल पर हैं। उनकी मांगें मानी नही जा रही हैं। दिन रात एक करके लोगो की सेवा करने के बाद उन्हें पीटा जा रहा है, अभद्र बर्ताव किया जा रहा है। ये बहुत गलत है। आप में से जो ये पोस्ट पढ़ रहा है, वो twitter पर जाके पर ट्वीट करके मध्य प्रदेश की सरकार से ये appeal करे कि सभी मांगे वाजिब हैं।
हमारा साथ दीजिये यही मेरी गुज़ारिश ह आप सब से ।

Hello to all. You might have heard that famous quote "sharing is caring". In these COVID 19 times I would like to reverse the quote to this " Overcaring is sharing the virus". I have seen patients who get evetually positive while caring for the family member who tested positive. Do care for your loved ones, but take the necessary precautions, remain masked up, sanitize hands, and remain in contact as least as possible.
Emotions in these tough times may lead to increase in the problems. It's just a matter of 14 days. Just hold on. This eventually get right
Another thing I would like to share. From 31st of May or 1st of June, most of the cities in our country would be unlocking once again. COVID 19 is not over yet. Do not avoid wearing masks, avoid public gatherings as much as possible, and a special request to all the bachelors please postpone your marriages 😅( no offence just saying in your interest).

Hello to all. आज कुछ अलग विचार अपनी मातृभाषा में। आमतौर पर doctors को ईश्वर तुल्य समझा जाता है। बहुत बड़ी उपाधि है। पर में ये कहना चाहूंगा कि हम भगवान नही हैं। मैंने मरीज़ों में एक बर्ताव काफी ज्यादा महसूस किया है। ये बर्ताव जो मैं बताने जा रहा हूँ, ये मरीज़ों के लिए काफी नुकसानदायक साबित हो रहा है।
जैसे आज मैंने किसी मरीज को देखा और उसको दवाई लिखी। आज राड को दवाई की पहली खुराक लेने के बाद एक दम से अपेक्षाओं का सैलाब से आजाता है। लोगो को लगता है बस एक गोली खा लो सब बढ़िया हो जाएगा। ये बहुत गलत धारणा है। दवाई काम करने में करीब 3 से 4 दिन तो लेती ही है। हो सकता है एक खुराक के बाद आपको बेहतर महसूस न हो, या कोई फर्क ही न समझ आये। कृपया धीरज रखे दवाई नियमित खाएं अपने doctor पर विश्वास रखें, आपको फर्क पड़ेगा।
जल्दीबाज़ी में आधा अधूरा treatment लेके नुकसान ज्यादा है फायदे कम हैं।

Hello to all. The second wave of COVID 19 is on the decline. Still I wanted to share a concern which bothers me. I have seen many people who hoard (keep for long time) the presctiption written by a doctor thinking why to waste money again for the same disease. For routine diseases like cough cold , diarrhoea, infective fever though it is not good but can be done 'cause we are INDIANS.
But now people have started doing ot for COVID 19 also. It is my sincere request to all of you those who are reading my post please don't do so. Donot self medicate. It might benefit you once or twice but it will surely make your health worse at the end. The medicines are excreted through LIVER and/or KIDNEYS. In case of non function of both or either of the two they might lead to toxicity which may have serious consequences. You are aware of only single beneficial effect of the drug but completely unaware of multiple harmful effects.

Hello to all. Yesterday the guidelines regarding vaccination were again amended by the Govt. of India.
I suppose all of you are aware of the guidelines. I am here to amend my previous post. Earlier Govt. of India did not recommend vaccine for the lactating and pregnant females. However, in yesterday`s new set of guidelines ONLY LACTATING FEMALES are included in the vaccination drive. Rest of the details are given in the image given below.

Hello to all. No updates, no information today. Just wanted to share a few things with all of you. In these tough times every front liner is working their hearts out to make sure that our country recovers from this pandemic soon. Irrespective of the fact whether they are getting support from the government or not. I know when we lose someone dear to us, it is a natural response that we all displace our anger on the medical staff. It is NATURAL but mind my words it is not INVOLUNTARY. It can be controlled very well. Just introspect within yourself everybody and think before acting, think whether you brought the covid warrior on time? The doctors have been sufferers of a negetive propaganda which was communicated to the people through television media etc.. That is the reason why people have trust issues even though we are standing in front of an invisible enemy with pride and fearlessness.
People have a wrong thinking. We too feel bad if we lose a patient. But it is just the maturity we show at that time because if we don't, other's life will be at a stake. Just support each other in these tough times. This too shall paas.

Hello to all. The hot topic for today if the revoking of the plasma therapy from the management guidelines from Covid 19. There isn`t an approved treatment for this dreadful virus. Everything which is approved for it`s management has some indirect effect which helps in containing virus spread in the body, so was the plasma therapy.
The antibodies prepared by the immune system of a person who has recovered from the infection was introduced in the body of the patient having active infection. These antibodies against the viral antigens prevent the virus from creating havok. This is the only mechanism. This means Plasma therapy was effective only in the person in whom the lung damage is absent or minimal. Another misconception from which I have been fighting since last few months.
Normally convalescent plasma was seeked in the last stages of the disease. No effect as the lungs are already damaged.
As for mild and moderate cases plasma therapy added no survival benefit but to hasten the recovery of the patient. But risks for development of the transfusion reaction, hypersensitivity reaction outweighed the benefits. Moreover, many of the people who recovered from the disease were reluctant to donate their plasma.
So, Revoking the decision of using plasma therapy is a neutral one. Nothing much can be commented on it.

Hello to all. It has been seen by me as common query that whether the people having Diabetes mellitus, or those who have undergone by-pass surgery can take the vaccine.
Though these concerns are legitimate but both the vaccines Covishield & Covaxin are safe in these patients.
According to the world health organisation these vaccines can be given to almost any person above the age group of 18 years even if they have pre existing co-morbidities.

इस covid 19 महामारी के चलते हमे एक शब्द बहुत ज़्यादा सुनने को मिला है SpO2. हम इसको बीते एक साल से नजाने दिन में कितनी बार नापते आ रहे हैं। कुछ लोग दिन मन 3 बार तो कुछ हर आधे घण्टे में। अधिकतर लोगों को अभी भी इसको नापने के सही तरीका नहीं पता है।
आमतौर पर लोग pulse oximeter को उंगली पर लगा कर तुरंत उसकी reading बता देते हैं। फिर जब वोह काम आती है तो घबराकर जल्दी बाज़ी मन जाके अस्पताल में भर्ती होने की कवायद करने लगते हैं।
इस post के माध्यम से थोड़ी सी इस घबराहट ओर जल्दीबाज़ी पर रोक लगाने को कोशिश करते हैं।
जब भी आप उँगली पर pulse oximeter लगाएं, हमेशा उसको 2 minute करीब लगे रहने दें। आम तौर पर इतने समय में उसकी reading स्थिर हो जाती है। पर कई बार इससे भी थोड़ा सा ज़्यादा समय लग सकता है। ये निर्भर करता है pulse oximeter की quality पर। तो बेहतर ये रहता है कि जब तक pulse oximeter की reading स्थिर ना हो जाये उसको उंगली पर लगे रहने दें।
विश्वास मानिये आधे से ज्यादा मरीज़ सिर्फ घबराहट के कारण खुद को अपने घर से निकाल कर ओर ज्यादा संक्रमण वाले क्षेत्र में ले जा रहे हैं।
यदि reading स्थिर होने पर भी कम रहती है आपको तभी अस्पताल में भर्ती होने का सोचना चाहिए।

Being working on grounds during this CoViD 19 pandemic, I have come across many of the patients having speculations about whether Covid 19 vaccination be it Covishield or Covaxin should be given in Pregnant and Lactating females or not?
This post might help them to clear the speculations a bit.
It is to be noted that any of the Guidelines forming authorities have not specified any specific contraindication. They have however, recommended to avoid the vaccine during periods of pregnancy and lactation due to lack of the data about the effects of the vaccine.
While the WORLD HEALTH ORGANISATION recommends the vaccination in pregnant and lactating females only if they belong to a particular group (health workers etc.) or if they have co-morbidities.
But Government of India have excluded all the pregnant and lactating females from the vaccination drive stating that the trials which lead to the approval of these to vaccines never included pregnant and lactating females.
Surely there is a clash of thoughts but being citizens of India we have to abide by the GoI.
