3.CONTINUE, LESSON
STRENGTH OF PLANETS.........3.MAIN PRINCIPLES
1. Tenant is stronger then owner. (i) Tenant in a sign is stronger that the lord of sign. Planet occupying a house is stronger than one owning it (ii) Tenant in a constellation is stronger than the lord of constellation. Therefore a planet in a sign will give to a greater extent the results of the house in which he is posited. Likewise a planet will offer more strongly the results of the house occupied by the lord of constellation in which the planet is posited.
2. Star lord is stronger than sign lord i.e., constellation is stronger than sign Hence the planet offers the results of the house occupied by the lord of constellation and these results are the strongest. Then the occupant of a house is strong to give the results of the house occupied by it. Next comes the houses whose owner is the lord of constellation in which the planet is posited. Then comes the lord of the sign itself where the cusp of a house falls.

Planets conjoined with or aspected by these significators also offer the results of the houses indicated by the significators.
3. Planet occupying a house is stronger than one owning it.
4. Any planet is weaker than the planet in its constellation. Planets occupying or owning a house are weaker in strength that the planets in their constellations.
5. Lord of constellation shows which matters are signified by a planet, by way of its occupation and its lordship. The planets are significators of houses owned and occupied by their star lords.
6.. Whatever a planet is to give, it will be given even during the periods of the planets in its constellation, as planets are under the sway of their star lords.
7. Fortuna (Moon + Lagna –Sun) portrays how one will be fortunate. It has no influence on character but benefits the sign where it is posited.

4. WHAT IS A HOUSE OR A BHAVA

The natal or horary chart under stellar system is prepared as per placidus system. This system divides the 12 signs into unequal but correct divisions. In this, a house is considered to commence from cuspal point in a sign, so that the space between the cusp of the 1st house and that of the 2nd house is the extent of lagna bhava. The space between the cusp of 2nd house and that of the 3rd is called the 2nd bhava & so on. A house may extend to 2 sign but the lord of that cusp is the sign lord where the cusp falls. This system differs from the traditional system where the cusp of a house is taken as the mid point of a house.
i. Even though a planet is inside 11th bhava, it should be considered to be on the cusp of 12th, provided sub lord of 12th cusp and that of the planet is one and the same planet, e.g. 12th cuspal degree is Leo 23. It is in Saturn sub. Suppose a planet Venus is at 22 in Leo. Technically it will be in 11th bhava but as the sub lord of Venus is also Saturn, It may be taken to be posited in 12th bhava and not in 11th.
ii. In a nutshell, a planet emits the matters of the house occupied by the star lord and the houses owned by him. The sub lord is the deciding factor in all cases.
For assessing a particular question one should look into the sub lord of the cusp of the house which represents the required matter. The cuspal sub lord of that house is the deciding factor.

5. SIGNIFICATORS

Method A. The result of a house is offered by a planet that is (or a house is signified by following planets):
(1) Situated in the star of occupant of the house.
(2) Occupant of house
(3) Situated in the star of lord of house
(4) Lord of the house
(5) Planets which are conjoined with or aspected by significators.

Note: If you get 3 or more planets as significators by applying rules (1) and (2) it is advisable to stop with
them. In that case significators as per rule (3) and (4) become very feeble to give results. However, rule (5) may be applied.

Conversely:

A planet signifies the following houses (or a planet becomes significator of following houses):

1) The house occupied by its star-lord.
2) The house occupied by the planet itself:
3) The house (s) owned by its star lord:
4) The house(s) owned by planet itself.

Significators strength is in the descending order.

Note: (i) Such planet (s) is (are) termed as the significators of that house.
(ii) Planets conjoined with or aspected by such significators also offer the results of the houses
indicated by the significator.
(iii) The planets in the constellation of sub lord or star lord of the cusp of a house, are also significators of that house. If no planet lies in their constellation, the sub lord/star lord of the cusp themselves become significators of that house.

Method B (applicable only in horary astrology) The following planets are significators.
1) Planets in the constellations of the sub lord of the cusp.
2) Sub lord of the cusp
3) Star lord of the sub lord of the cusp
4) Planets in constellations of the star lord of a cusp
5) Star lord of the cusp

6. Other prominent and effective significators
1) A planet in its own sub fully signifies the house it occupies
2) A planet in its own star fully signifies the house it occupies
3) If a planet has no planet in any of its constellations, then that planet signifies fully the house it
occupies.
4) Both the cusp and the planet is always under the sway of their star lord .
5) Find out who is star lord / sub lord of a cusp. Then find out the planet (s) posited in the constellations of such star lord and sub lord. Such planet (s) is (are) significator of that bhava. If no planet is posited in such constellations, then star lord/sub lord themselves become strong significator of that bhava even if the planet itself occupies the negating house and it will definitely offer the results of that bhava during its bhukti., i.e. the cuspal sub lord of a bhava qualifies itself as a significator of that bhava in the absence of planets in its stars even if the sub lord negates the bhava.
6) Sub lord of a cusp signifies the houses tenanted by the sub lord of such sub lord and star lord of such sub.
7) If sun is lord of say 6th house and there is no planet in 6th house and also there is no planet in any of the three constellations (krittika, uttraphalguni, uttrashadha) ruled by Sun, the Sun becomes a strong significator of 6th.
😎 If Saturn is in its own sub and if 12th cusp sub lord is Saturn, Saturn becomes a significators of 12th.
9) If a planet P is in the sub of 7th cusp, and if Sun is star lord of P, Sun will give results of 7th house if no planet is in the stars ruled by planet P.
10) Planet A in star of B, B in star of C. If C is in a good house, then both planets A & B will be good.
11) Sub lord may be in a evil bhava but good results will flow as per its star lord if he is in a good bhava.
12) Planet will give the results of :
a. Primarily of its own star lord occupant and ownership results.
b. Also its own occupation and ownership results provided its stars are not occupied by any body , i.e. they a vacant planets.
c. In both a and b, if the ownership houses are occupied by planets, then it will give the results of unoccupied house only.
Note: A planet “A” has connection with another planet “B” if “occupies sign of “B” or star of “B” or sub of
“B”.

In a nutshell
1. A planet considered to be benefic by lordship offers the results signified by it, through the planet(s) posited in its constellations, if the sub is also governed by a benefic. If sub lord is malefic, the results fail.
2. A planet P in transit influences such results as are denoted by the lord of constellation through the source denoted by the planet itself (by nature, lordship and occupation) and it is the sub lord which decides whether the result is favourable or not.
3. The results of a planet (shown by its occupation, nature and ownership) will be actually enjoyed (i) during the periods and sub periods of planet(s) in its constellations, (ii)during its own period and sub-periods.
4. The results of the lord of constellation will predominate in addition to what a planet has to offer by occupation or lord ship of a house.
5. Planet “P” is to be visualized as”

A. Constellation lord of “P” B. Constellation lord of “P”
Planet “P” Planet “P”
Planets in stars of “P” Sub lord of “P”

ROLE OF SUB LORD
1. A constellation may indicate many results, it is the sub who tells which result actually applies to the
individual. Broad predictions indicated by a constellation are specified by the sub.
2. Star lord refers to an object. Acquiring it or disposing off it depends upon Sub lord. Star shows a
particular matter, sub indicates whether there will be success or failure, progress or not, whether the
decision will be favourable or not. Lord of star may indicate many matters but sub eliminates many of them & specifies a particular matter. A planet is source for a matter. Whether it votes for the progress or prosperity of that matter depends upon the sub lord.
Example: Suppose a native is running dasa of Jupiter, which is a significator of the houses 5, 6, 9, 10 & 11th. Jupiter is in sub of Rahu, which is a significator of 1, 2, 5, 7 & 10. Since the sub lord is connected mainly with improving bhavas the overall dasa will be beneficial. But suppose the sub lord mainly signifies houses 8 &12, in that case despite Jupiter being the significator of improving bhava, it will not give good results.

If a planet is the significator of lagna bhava, it gives long life, success in attempts, it helps to maintain good health, provided this sub lord is not a significator of 6th , 8th or 12th. If the sub –lord of planet signifies 6th house it gives disease. If sub signifies 8th, one meets with danger and if 12th, one runs away or is imprisoned or is hospitalized. Therefore star- lord shows whom or which matter is referred to but the deciding factor, good or bad is shown by the sub occupied by the significator. This applies to all bhavas.
3. Of the houses 1 to 12 each house cuspal sub lord is the chief governor to offer the results for the respective houses. Whether matters of a house are to take place or not is decided by the cuspal sub lord of the house. If the sublord signifies favourable bhavas, the event will materialize and in case sublord is in the star, which negates the matter, then the event will not materialize.
4. Sub of the relevant cusp gives the results of the house occupied by its star lord. The sub lord of this sub lord should not be retrograde and must be in one of the relevant houses.
5. The cuspal sub lord determines the quantum of a bhava the planet sub lord determines the strength of a planet. The cuspal sub lords tell decisively the destiny of the native in each and every walk of life. The subs of planets do not change in small intervals of time, but cuspal sub lords may change even with the difference of one minutes in the birth time.
6. If the star lord of the sub lord of a cusp is the significator of the houses to be beneficial, then the sub is benefic.
7. if a bhava sub lord and the sub lord of this bhava’s badhakasthana bhava are same, then bhava matters, concerning relationship, are effected adversely e.g 3rd bhava is in sign Cancer in sub of Mars 1st bhava is 11th from 3rd (i.e. badhakasthana for Cancer sign). If 1st bhava sub lord is also Mars, they will be difference of opinion with the younger brother.
8. An important rule: See which are the planets whose constellations are not tenanted by any planet. These planets can be termed as “free or untenanted planets” .
i. See which cusps are in the sub of such free planets. These free planets become the strongest significators of those cusps, even if they negate the cusp by their position e. g 5th cusp sub lord is Rahu and there is no planet in any of the constellations of Rahu. So Rahu becomes strongest significators of 5th despite its position in 4th house.
ii. Suppose a planet “P” is in the sub of a free planet “M” i. e. free planet “M” is the sub lord of planet “P”. If “M” is a strong significator of a house , say 7, planet “P” becomes the strongest significator of house 7 being in the sub of a free planet who signifies 7 E.g. Mars is lord of 10th. Son Mars is a significator of 10th. Suppose no planet is posited in any of the constellations of Mars & Mars is in the sub of Jupiter. Jupiter also becomes the strongest significator of 10th even if Jupiter through multi- stellar theory may signify 9th.
9. In a nutshall:
i. If a planet is posited in a star, which is beneficial for the query, but the sub lord signifies houses inimical to the query, the matter will fall through ultimately.
ii If a planet is posited in a star, which is inimical for the query, but the sub lord signifies
houses beneficial to the query, the matter will be realized after some obstacles.
Iii If both star lord and the sub lord of the planet are beneficial for the query, full good
effects will be given by that planet.
Iv If both star lord and the sub lord of the planet are not beneficial for the query, the matter
will not materialize at all.

Therefore

1. Sign indicates the extent to which one can enjoy as it shows whether planet is strong or
weak, star lord gives the nature of the result according to occupation or ownership of houses. Sub decides whether that area is advantageous or not.
2. A planet signifies certain matters, which are indicated by the star lord. There may be other planets in the same star and so the matters signified by those planets will also be the same. However, the sub lord of the planet will indicate whether the planets will be helpful or harmful.
3. Planet is the source of an event, but star lord indicates the nature of result, and sub is the deciding factor whether the matter is favourable or not.

A planet in one particular star but evil sub indicates loss, difficulty or failure
whereas same planet in same star but in sub of a benefic promises gain and success and pleasure. Suppose star lord indicates matters of house 7th (marriage). The star in a malefic sub causes enmity and unhappiness in married life, but in a benefic sub brings harmony and happiness. If a planet indicates litigation, its sub tells victory or defeat. If star lord indicates business, its sub tells profits or loss....

Dear FRIENDS.....
As per the demand K.P STELLAR SYSTEM, I am hereby introducing some of the Methods and Rules/ Principles of K.P STELLAR SYSTEM. By this system any body can Predict Accurately. If any person have any Query Regarding these Rules or Methods then they are welcome and can ask me any Doubt, their suggestions will be accepted.

1. Zodiac consists of 12 equal solar mansions of 30 each known as rasis or signs which are called Aries, Taurus…Pisces whose rulers are Mars, Venus…Jupiter respectively and are called sign lords.
2. Zodiac is divided into 27 equal lunar mansions of 800 each known as constellations or stars, which are called ashwini, bharani… revati whose rulers are Kethu, Venus… Mercury respectively and are called star lords.
3. A constellation is of a fixed length i.e 800 and is ruled by a planet. Each constellation is further
divided into 9 parts. Each part is again ruled by different planets. The ruler of first part is the ruler of the constellation (star) itself and the successive rulers are as per sequence in vimshottari dasa rulers. The length or range of each part is calculated according to the years allotted to the rulers in vimshottari dasa considering 800 equivalent to 120 years. Each part is called sub and its lord is known as sub-lord, e.g the range of sub ruled by Venus will be equal to 20 x 800 / 120 = 2. 13.20”, & that of Sun = 6x800/120=40’ only and so on.
4. For delineation under this system we have a set of 12 signs, 27 constellations (stars) & 249 subs. The span of each sign, star and sub along with lords has been shown in this chart. In horary astrology, the querent is asked a number between 1 to 249 (including these two) & the number given by him indicates the lagna, which can be found out from the chart. This is the commencement point of 1st bhava. The number 249 has the significance that there are only 249 variations up to the sub lord level in the full cycle of 360 degrees. Each of 249 units is identified by its rasi lord; nakshatra lord & sub lord.
5. Ayanamsa to be adopted is from Mr. Newcombe, an astronomer, who opined the coincidence of
both Sayana & Fixed Zodiacs in the year 292 AD, & the retrograde motion of vernal equinox at the rate of 50.2388475 seconds per year. There is very slight variation of this ayanamsa from Lahiri’s .
6. Er****on of birth charts or horary charts should be prepared according to western method that is
placidus system (Semi arc system). The principle underlying this system is that where planet rises, it is then exactly on the ascendant. Thereafter it passes over the 12th, 11th, houses etc. in equal intervals of time until it sets when it reaches descendant or the 7th house. The semi arc from meridian, that intersects the eastern horizon, gives the ascendant, and the cusp of the 2th and 3rd houses are similarly extend below the horizon. It takes the planet 12 hours to move from mid heaven to 4th house (lower meridian). Further, the house degrees so computed and the ascendant or 10th house degrees are the starting position and not the middle position as in Indian system. The partition walls of the zodiac have 12 equal blocks of time. Hence the bhavas are of unequal lengths. These values are in sayana system. As we are to make use of the niryana zodiac, there fore ayanamsa is to be deducted from sayana values to arrive at niryana values.
7. The Geographical Latitudes on earth are shown considering the earth to be a globe, but the earth is a little flat at the North and south poles and hence looks like a Spheroid. Therefore, we should take latitudes from the center of the earth called as geocetric latitudes.......
