Major trauma is the main cause of death for people under the age of 48 and is a major cause of debilitating long term injuries. More than half of major trauma is caused by road traffic accidents.

Will-power and desire of this 72 year old gentleman to live life again as a farmer , gave me encouragement to do his successful spine surgery . He was admitted with fall from height with L 1 vertebral fracture (>75%) with mild cord injury with difficulty in walking.
Spine fixation with screws and decompression was done successfully and patient was discharged on fourth post Operative day . On suture removal , patient is walking himself without any support . Happy to see his happiness for coming back to his life as a farmer.

Surgery is not always the answer. This 80 year old lady was admitted with me six months back with severe intractable headache . She was consious and moving all four limbs . CT head showed large amount of blood spilled in brain (Aneurysmal Rupture) . Though, I am doing surgical clipping routinely but , deferred surgery in this patient due to old age ,no neurological deficit and multiple aneurysms in brain . I kept her on medical treatment with strict control of blood pressure .With God’s grace , its six months and she is living a normal life . Her smile and the satisfaction of her kids give you immense pleasure in OPD .

Good Evening Friends

Sharing re-living video of a gentleman who was already operated for lumbar disc surgery by two renowned neurosurgeons one after other in interval of six months but patient was still on bed due to unbearable pain .
After seeing MRI of patient, I accepted the challenge to operate upon him for the third time . With the God’s grace , within two months of surgery, he is back to his normal life without any pain and medications .
