Alumni Association (HQ JGEC Campus) requests interested students to apply for following scholarships in the link provided in Alumni Association website:

*PRESENT THIRD YEAR (2019 batch) STUDENTS*:
• *Confident & Professional Personality Scholarship* (sponsored by *Bibhas Bhowmik*, JGEC ex-student batch 1985): INR 20,000, for one number Civil Engineering student, for present third year students (2019 batch)
• *Power Engineering Scholarship* (sponsored by *Premangshu Ghosh*, JGEC ex-student batch 1979): INR 12,000 each, for one number Electrical Engineering student, for present third year students (2019 batch)
• *Relief & Support Scholarship* (sponsored by *Bramha Dev Sharma* JGEC ex-student batch 1981): INR 18,000, for one number Engineering students of any discipline, for present third year students (2019 batch)
*PRESENT 3RD YEAR (2019 batch), 2ND YEAR (2020 batch) & 1ST YEAR (2021 batch) STUDENTS*:
• *Mr. Dhananjoy & Mrs. Suchitra Saha Endowed Scholarship* (Sponsored by *Swapnik Saha*, son of Mr. Dhananjoy & Mrs. Suchitra Saha and JGEC 2006 ECE batch): INR 10,000 each for one 3rd year student (2019 batch), one 2nd year student (2020 batch) and one 1st year student (2021 batch) from Electronics and Communication Engineering department.
*PRESENT 2ND & 1ST YEAR STUDENTS*:
• *Souvik Pal Memorial Scholarship* (sponsored by *Santanu Kumar Pal*, JGEC ex-student batch 1989, in memory of his beloved son Souvik): INR 18,000 each, for one number 2nd year student (2020 batch) & one number 3rd year student (2021 batch) of any discipline
LAST DATE OF APPLICATION FOR SCHOLARSHIP: 20 JUNE 2018
Interested students are requested to apply for the scholarships. Probable date for interview for shortlisted candidates are 11/12 Aug (at Annexed facility of Kanchenjunga). Sponsors have set of criteria for selection of scholarship. Financial criteria is one of the basis for few scholarship schemes. But apart from that, professor’s recommendations, academic results, subject knowledge and positive contributions towards community are also taken care during selection process.
