ACCUSED IN ATTEMPT TO MURDER CASE ARRESTED WITHIN 48 HRS

SAMBA August 10: Samba Police arrested an accused in attempt to murder case registered at P/S Ghagwal within 48 hrs after commission of crime.

According to the report, On 08.08.2020, A written complaint was lodged by one Sukhvir Kumar S/o Rattan Chand R/O Madhoon, Rajpura stating therein that at around 6:30 pm his father Rattan Chand S/o Manga Ram R/O Madhoon, Rajpura while returning home after feeding animals near brick klin was attacked by accused Danesh S/o Keshav Singh R/O Madhoon, Rajpura with wooden lathi on his head with the intention to kill him causing grievous injuries.

On this, a case FIR No. 83/2020 U/S 341/307/323 IPC got registered at P/S Ghagwal and manhunt launched to nab the accused person.

After hectic efforts put forth by Police team of PP Rajpura, the said accused has been arrested from Malani, Rajpura .

Further investigation into the case is going on.
