Under the guidance of Dr.Suresh Sharma Worthy Director Ayush J&K and Supervision of Dr. Vandana Dogra Medical Superintendent GAH Jammu and Dr. Aruna Bhat Deputy Medical Superintendent GAH Jammu. A 3 days Cascading Training Program on Ayush Public Health Programs for Medical Officers started in coordination with National AYUSH Mission, Program Management Unit J&K. The training program started with Deep Prajawalan and paying floral tributes to the holy feets of Lord Dhanvantari. At the outset, Dr. Vandana Dogra Medical Superintendent Govt. Ayurvedic Hospital gave the brief outline of the Training Program. In his address Worthy Director urged all the MOs of Ayushman Arogya Mandir Ayush where National Program on Prevention and Management of Musculoskeletal Disorders and Osteoarthritis are urged to implement the program as per the operational guidelines of Ayush Public Health Programs. On this occassion Director Ayush J&K also launched Promotional videos on Ayush Public Health Programs and Strengths of Ayurveda for wider public dissemination. Dr. Rakesh Kumar Raina Assistant Director Ayurveda also highlighted about the community participation and convergence in these programs. Dr. Shujad Shuja Assistant Director Unani was also present in the program. Detailed presentations were made by Dr. Arun Gupta and Dr
Harbaksh Singh on Various aspects of the program. A special session on Integration of Yoga in the Ayush Public Health Program was taken by team of Yoga Therapy Training Center Of MDNIY. 30 participants participated in the program from Jammu Division.
