Ayurvedic Hospital and Dr. Aruna Bhat Deputy Medical Superintendent GAH Jammu, a vibrant farewell party organized on the superannuation of Smt. Mohini Devi, Senior Staff Nurse to bid her aideu. On the occassion Dr. Rakesh Kumar Raina Assistant Director Ayurveda, Medical Officers Ayush and Paramedical Staff working in Govt. Ayurvedic Hospital Jammu participated in the program.

October 14, 2025: Shri Manoj Sinha, Hon'ble Lieutenant Governor of the UT of J&K inaugurated Diwali Mela at Gulshan Ground Jammu organized by Jammu & Kashmir Police wherein Under the guidance of Dr Suresh Sharma worthy Director Ayush and supervision of Dr Vandana Dogra District Ayush Officer Jammu and Medical Superintendent Govt. Ayurvedic Hospital Jammu a stall was installed in Diwali Police Mela at Gulshan ground. Hon'ble Lieutenant Governor of the UT of J&K visited all stalls including Ayush stall .The stall exhibited strength areas of Ayush Sector Ayush comprising Ayush Nutritional and Immunity Modulator kits, Medicinal Plants , Millets ,Yoga and Ayush practices and principles in the treatment of various disorders. 740 patients were registered for free consultation and free medicines were dispensed among the needy by team of Medical Officers and Paramedical Staff comprising

Following public health out reach activities were carried out: 1. Awareness about the Role of Ayush in maintaining health of all especially females and its efficacy in enhancing the health was explained with IEC material. 2.Yoga for healthy life especially for females was also explained along with use of local herbs for improving BMI.
3.Dietary prefrences in improving health of nursing mothers.

Under the guidance of Dr. Suresh Sharma worthy Director Ayush J&K and supervision of Dr Vandana Dogra Medical Superintendent GAH Jammu and Dr. Aruna Bhat Deputy Medical Superintendent GAH Jammu.A Medical aid cm awareness and free medicine distribution camp under the Outreach program activity of GAH organized as a part of Seva Parv and Swasth Nari, Sashakt Parivar at Deewan e Khaas Mubarak Mandi complex in coordination with Gandhi Global Society on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti on 2nd October 2025.Sh.Ramesh kumar IAS also visited the camp site along with members of the Gandhi global society to inaugurate the camp.
363 patients were examined and given medicines by the team of the GAH, comprising Dr Gagandeep kaur ( MO) , Dr. Pooja Gupta(NAM Specialist), Mr.Sumit and Saksham( UT Pharmacists) and Sh Raghav Kumar ( MTS). Ayurvedic Hospital Jammu, an Awareness Program on Women Wellness Ayurveda organized at Department of Zoology Govt College for Women Gandhinagarunder Swastha Nari Sashakt Parivar Abhiyan. 155 students from different departments attended the program. DR. Arun Gupta MS Prasuti Ta**ra and Stree Roga delivered the awareness lecture on Importance of Ayurveda in Menstrual and Women Health Promotion. The program was coordinated by Dr. Zenuka., MO Ayush GCW Gandhinagar Dr. Samruddhi Head of Department Zoology appreciated efforts of GAH Jammu and Directorate of Ayush for organising such awareness programs which are relevant for Women Health.
