Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Narang is a Jammu-based Pulmonologist with expertise in Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Related Breathing Disorders. He is the son of noted Pulmonologist Late Dr. T R Narang who had established Dr. T. Dr. Narang currently operates this centre where as a Chest Specialist he provides consultation for management of Asthma, COPD, Interstitial Lung Disease, Bronchitis, Tuberculosis, Pneumonia, Sleep Related Breathing Disorder (Sleep apnea) and all other lung diseases. Dr. Narang’s educational background includes MBBS, MD (Internal Medicine) qualifications together with a Diploma in Tuberculosis & Chest Diseases (DTCD). He has an extensive work experience, covering over 1000 bronchosopies with transbronchial needle aspiration and lung biopsies. Besides this, he is extremely adept in pleural work that includes pleural biopsies and medical management of empyema. Dr. Narang has successfully managed numerous complex cases of Tuberculosis, Sarcoidosis, Diffuse Interstitial Lung Disorders, complicated cases of COPD and Bronchial Asthma, together with all types of respiratory failure. As a specialist in Critical Care, he is regularly involved in Ventilator Management and treatment of patients with ARDS, septic or any other forms of shock. Patients with community acquired or nosocomial lung infections too have received successful treatment under him. Dr. Narang has provided relief to several patients suffering from Obstructive Sleep Apnea, through effective implementation of CPAP and BiPAP techniques.
