The Department of Surgery successfully conducted a Continuing Medical Education (CME) program with interdisciplinary participation from superspeciality departments including Urology, Neurosurgery, and Plastic Surgery.

The CME comprised focused academic lectures and case-based discussions aimed at updating faculty members and postgraduate students on current surgical practices and recent advances.The program facilitated meaningful academic interaction across departments and was well appreciated by participants.

Dr. Param Shah, an intern doctor of Shri M. P. Shah Government Medical College and GG Hospital, presented a scientific poster on a rare pediatric disorder, ROHHAD Syndrome, at the Indian Medical Association 100th NATCON 2025 conference held on 27th and 28th of December 2025 at Ahmedabad.

Also, Dr. Param and his team had secured the 1st position in the national level medical quiz competition organized by IMA.

This accomplishment highlights the institution’s active participation and excellence at national academic forums.
