Majority of time, transient reddish or pink urine in early newborn is considered as normal.
Because, very concentrated urine during the first few days of life can contain urate crystals (uric acid crystals). These urate crystals can cause a pink, red, or orange-colored, powdery stain in baby's diaper called brick dust.
It might be scary, but brick dust is normal for many newborns.

Ashtanga Sangraha has touched very important point regarding Shishyopnayaniya (education system).
They tells that - as per the capacity and social class of parents, child should be educated. but during this education, child must be taught for Dharma and politeness, so that during youth (young age) they could be prevented from pulling by badly handled horses (Indriyas).

सर्वे निवार्यते बालं स्तन्यं नैव निवार्यते .
मात्रया लङ्घयेत् धात्री शिशौ एतत् हि लङ्घनम्.

means
In early childhood (during lactation), meaning of Langhan is different than that of others.
Lactating child should never be refrain from breast feeding. If Langhan is must to break Samprapti than Laghu Ahara Should be given to lactating mother to gain the benefit of Langhan to that baby.

The Tanner scale (also known as the Tanner stages or Sexual Maturity Rating (SMR)) is a scale of physical development in children, adolescents and adults. The scale defines physical measurements of development based on external primary and secondary s*x characteristics, such as the size of the breasts, ge****ls, testicular volume and development of p***c hair.
This scale was first identified in 1969 by James Tanner, a British pediatrician, after a two-decade-long study following the physical changes in girls undergoing puberty.
Puberty starts with SMR 2 and ends at SMR 5.
In girls, sequence of puberty is thelarchy > pubarchy > maximum growth spurt >lastly menarchy.
in boys sequence of puberty is scrotal enlargement > pe**le enlargement > p***c hair > maximum growth spurt > axillary hair > beard.

Importance of massage in children:

नित्यमेव तु बालानां निशि स्नेहविमर्दनम्
हितं निद्राकरं बल्यं वर्धनं श्रमनाशनम्

means
Oil massage should be done to a baby at nigh (before sleep) because it is beneficial to achieve sound sleep, increase strength, helps in growth and development and it reduces fatigue.
