I turned 30 today. Last year was incredibly hard. I had no option than to turn spiritual. Here is what 7 important lessons that spirituality & life taught me.

1.) We all are a medium here, none of us is above or below us. Nothing is in our hands. We can only focus on our karma, rest everything is in god's hands. 

2.) You will feel God’s presence once you keep religion aside. I go to mosques, churches, temples, gurudwara etc. Earlier it was like I'm hindu I will go to hindu temple only.

3.) Sometimes the path ahead will be unclear & that’s okay. Taking the first step is important because that is how you will get to step 2 & soon the path will be clear. 

4.) I was holding a lot of anger in my life towards people who did wrong to me & was feeling guilty for whom I did wrong to. I played back all my 30 years, wrote letters & forgave myself where I was wrong & forgiven people who did wrong to me. It was unconsciously affecting me a lot & I never ever realised that. 

5.) It is important to go through a tough time. None of us want pain in life but pain is important for growth. Endure the pain, learn what is teaching you & then help others through your experience.

6.) Fear doesn't let us reach full potential in life. Once you imagine the absolute worst, your fear will vanish.

7.) There is light on the other side. You just have to take one day at a time & not give up. The 1% hope is enough.

Most people think fat loss only happens through workouts or cardio, but your body actually burns calories even while digesting food.
That’s called the Thermic Effect of Food (TEF) basically, the energy your body uses to break down, absorb, and process what you eat.

Now here’s the interesting part:
Not all foods burn the same amount of calories during digestion.
Protein has the highest thermic effect around 20–30%, while carbs are about 5–10%, and fats only 0–3%.

That means if you eat 100 calories from protein, your body burns 20–30 of them just to digest it.
But from carbs or fats, it burns far less.

So, when you increase your protein intake, your body automatically works harder and burns more calories without you doing anything extra.
Over time, that small daily difference can add up to several kilos of extra fat loss in a year.

More protein = higher TEF = better fat loss results.

Morning sunlight (8–11 AM) is the best for natural Vitamin D. Try 15–20 minutes with arms and legs exposed. Vitamin D actually behaves like a hormone, not just a vitamin, it influences over 200 genes in your body.

If your magnesium is low, your body can’t activate Vitamin D properly so eat magnesium-rich foods like almonds, spinach, and pumpkin seeds. If you’re taking Vitamin D supplement, choose a Vitamin D3 + K2 combo as K2 helps calcium go into your bones, not your arteries.

Raw milk is milk taken directly from the cow or buffalo without undergoing any processing such as pasteurization or homogenization, while packet milk is processed, pasteurized, and standardized for safety and consistency. Nutritionally, raw milk may retain slightly higher levels of natural enzymes and fat-soluble vitamins like A, D, E, and K, which can be reduced during pasteurization.

However, raw milk also carries a significant risk of bacterial contamination from pathogens such as E. coli, Salmonella, and Listeria, making it unsafe for direct consumption unless boiled properly. Packet milk, on the other hand, is much safer because pasteurization destroys harmful bacteria and extends shelf life, ensuring hygiene and uniform quality.

Although pasteurization slightly reduces certain enzymes, packet milk remains nutritionally adequate for daily use and is easier to digest for most people. In short, while raw milk may offer marginally better nutrient retention, packet milk is the safer, more reliable, and practical choice for regular consumption.

The benefit of creatine appears best when paired with resistance training (and adequate nutrition), creatine is not a standalone fat-loss supplement. The foundation of fat loss remains: a calorie deficit + good resistance &/or aerobic training + adequate protein + recovery.

Water retention / weight gain (primarily intracellular water in muscle) → Can lead to a few kilograms of weight gain early on.

Creatine may cause water retention (especially initial phase) which could mask fat-loss on the scale → important to focus on body composition, strength, measurements rather than just scale weight.

More lean mass means you burn more calories at rest (relatively), which supports fat-loss indirectly. Improved training performance during fat loss means you can maintain muscle stimulus despite eating less.

It’s not age. It’s weak stamina and low strength.

• Start strength training.
• Add light cardio.
• Cut down on smoking.
• Move daily.
