Newborn baby brought 2 Yashri children hospital with complaint of thick skin membrane over whole body.Diagnosis of COLLODION BABY was made by her clinical presentation. collodion baby is rare congenital disorder that involves thick membrane over whole body. Such babies are very prone 2 get sepsis as 100% skin involvement was there. Baby admitted in NICU. strict asepsis protocol was maintained.Proper hydration and skin emmolients were used.No single prick was done 2 prevent baby from sepsis and with proper nursing care- miracle happened.

નવજાત શિશુ ને જન્મ્યા પછી તરત આખા શરીર પર ત્વચાની જાડી પટલની ફરિયાદ સાથે યશ્રી ચિલ્ડ્રન હોસ્પીટલ માં લાવવામાં આવ્યું હતું.કોલોડિઅન બેબીનું નિદાન તેની ક્લિનિકલ પ્રેઝન્ટેશન દ્વારા કરવામાં આવ્યું હતું.કલોડિઓન બેબી એ દુર્લભ જન્મજાત વિકાર છે જેમાં આખા શરીર ની ચામડી જાડા પટલ માં પરિવર્તિત થઈ જાય છે. બેબી ની 100 % ચામડી માં અસર હોઈ ઇન્ફેક્શન નો ખતરો ખૂબ જ વધી ગયો હતો.બેબીને એનઆઈસીયુમાં દાખલ કરી કડક એસેપ્સિસ પ્રોટોકોલ જાળવી રાખવામાં આવ્યો.પ્રોપર હાઇડ્રેશન અને ત્વચા નિમિત્તોનો ઉપયોગ કરવામાં આવ્યો. બાળક ને ઇન્ફેક્શન થી બચાવવા એક પણ પ્રિક કરવામાં ન આવ્યું અને યોગ્ય નર્સિંગ કેર આપતા બાળક ને બચાવી લેવાયું.
