Down's syndrome is a genetic disorder caused when abnormal cell division results in extra genetic material from chromosome 21 which causes developmental and intellectual delays.

Activities to note:

*Teach them to simple yet clear signs for everyday objects and activities

*Blowing Bubbles - Round their lips, Retract their tongue, blow out air with control

*Model Speech - Speak in a clear voice, enunciate new words and remember to hold a steady pace

*Recognizing facial expressions - Simple pictures or even emojis of happy, sad, excited, angry or disappointed

*Singing rhymes - Motivate them to vocalise with you also can use hand gestures
