I had the privilege of engaging with the vibrant teacher education students of C K Raghavan Memorial College of Teacher Education, as part of the Life Skill Enhancement Programme organised by IQAC.

The session focused on the essential life skills that young teachers and future educators need to build a balanced, confident, and mindful professional journey.

Today, I had the wonderful opportunity to engage with the students of Government College Mananthavady as part of a life-enrichment session organised by the Jeevani Centre for Well-being in association with Jagratha Samithi.

The session, titled “Life Skills: The Art of Balanced Living – Innovative hacks to simplify your daily routine”, focused on helping students build essential psychological and practical skills that support a healthier, more structured, and balanced lifestyle.

Students explored core life skills such as emotional regulation, decision-making, problem-solving, time management, and effective communication—skills that make personal and academic life smoother and more fulfilling.

I had the wonderful opportunity to lead an awareness session at St. Mary’s College, Sulthan Bathery, organized jointly by the Jeevani Centre for Well-being and the National Service Scheme (Unit No. 70 & 159), in connection with World Mental Health Day 2025.

The session focused on this year’s global theme — “Mental Health in Emergencies: Fostering Resilience and Well-being.”
We explored how unexpected crises, such as natural disasters, pandemics, or personal losses, can impact our emotional health — and how resilience acts as a psychological shield that helps individuals recover and adapt.

Key Discussion Points:
🔹 Understanding the concept of mental health in emergencies
🔹 Recognizing emotional responses to crisis situations
🔹 Coping mechanisms and self-care strategies during stressful events
🔹 Role of social support and community in recovery
🔹 Building personal and collective resilience for long-term well-being
