On behalf of Kalyan Doctor Army, we express gratitude to all our members who supported the hunger strike wholeheartedly 🙏. Special thanks to presidents of all medical associations who came together on very short notice and helped in all logistics for the success of hunger strike. Dr Neeraj Pal (KEMPSWA), Dr Rahul Kale (KHDF), Dr Shyam Potdukhe (NIMA), Dr Vipul Kakad (AVK), Dr Tambde (IDA), Dr Takshila More (KDPA), Dr Yogesh Kawathe (TDWF), Dr Lalit Sonawane (AMDF)💪👏

But any success is not possible without hardworking teammates ❤️

1. Dr Rahul Kale helped in arranging 1st meeting of all medical associations at Sukhkarta hospital. He drafted all letters needed for police permission and media. He, along with Dr Nitin Bawaskar, took efforts to go to Bazarpeth police station for permission. He collected finance for the show. Shabhashi toh milegi 👏👏
2. Dr Nitin Bawaskar is always a big support for the army. He, along with Rahul, managed all logistics for the strike. He was with the team right from planning until ex*****on. He managed media. really blessed 🙌 to work with Nitin 👏👏
3. Dr. Deepak Pogade is a big asset for the army. Right from banner creation, constructing mandap for the event, maintaining records during the fast, sending mail to Chief Minister's office, making beautiful videos, and many more. Salute to your efforts.
4. Dr Tambde sir played an crucial role in planning this strike. He stood with the team right from 6.00 am to 6.00 pm. He was the only senior most member who did hunger strike. He took care of political people. Sir tumhala salam 🫡
5. Dr Deepak Telavane sir ... without sir, strike was not possible. Sir gave Namaskar mandal ground free of cost for this noble cause. He himself supported strike by joining us. Tumche manapasun abhar 🙏
6. Dr. Chayya Gharpure was actively involved in all planning. She was the 1st doctor who started the hunger strike dot on 6.00 am followed by Dr Mukundrao Deshmukh. Proud of her efforts 👌 💪
7. Dr Jayesh Rathod was in Radiologist mode. He was part of working team. He clicked each and every doctor pic. Tremendous energy boy. Proud of you 👏
8. Dr Abhijit Thakur .. a silent worker. He created social media flyers. Helped in logistics. Media handling. Proud of you 👏

Along with these teammates, there are many unsung heroes like Dr Abhay Gaikwad, Dr Takshila More, Dr Manisha Lal, Dr Manali Jain, Dr Rajesh Kaudare, Dr Prerna Adhav, Dr Ketki Shotri who are part of this successful journey 👏 👍 sabko Shabhashi milegi. ❤️

Special thanks to our MLA Shri Vishwanath Bhoir and Shivsena UBT city chief Shri Sachin Basare for meeting the doctors and moral supporting them.

त्यादरम्यान डॉक्टर्स आर्मी च्या वतीने, बेंगाल च्या रेसिडेंट डॉक्टरांच्या मागण्यांचे पत्रक आमदार साहेबाना सुपूर्द करण्यात आले.
यावर संबधित मागण्यांच्या बाबत, तातडीने दखल घेऊन माननीय मुख्यमंत्री श्री एकनाथ जी शिंदे साहेब व मुख्यमंत्री कार्यालय, यांना हे पत्रक पाठवून त्यावर तातडीने दखल घेण्याचे त्यांनी आश्वासन दिले.

Venue: Namaskar Mandal ground, Agra road, Kalyan west

Timing:
6.00 am Hunger strike starts and finishes by 6.00 pm.

Hunger strike:
No water or food for 12 hrs. There is no compulsion on any doctor. Personal decision of him/her.

Dress Code:
If you have appron, wear and come.
No appron, wear white shirt (male) and female have their own white choice.

We follow all discipline during the fast.

🍁🍁🍁🌻 *सप्रेम नमस्कार* 🌻 🍁 🍁🍁

It is very sad to inform, Medical Associations of Kalyan (IMA KALYAN, KEMPSWA, KHDF, NIMA, IDA) have taken decision to suspend their medical services in Kalyan city on 25th November 2020 as one day token protest against the verbal abuse and threatening to Dr Ashwin Kakkar of Vaishnavi Maternity hospital by corporator Mr Mahesh Gaikwad. If Mr Mahesh Gaikwad does not apologize in writing and on page live, the protest will be indefinite from 28th November 2020.

The incidence is as follow:
Mrs XYZ, 9 months pregnant woman (name anonymous as per medical ethics) registered with Dr Ashwin Kakkar was admitted in Vaishnavi maternity hospital for abdominal pain. Hospital has strict rule regarding patients relatives. Only one relative is allowed to stay with patient. No other relative are allowed to stay in hospital premises or on the road (100 meters limit). The purpose is daily 30 to 40 patients are admitted in this hospital. If relatives are allowed to stand on road, it will create chaos to public and traffic. Before covid, police use to ask hospital not to allow so many relatives to gather.

On similar rules, relatives of Mrs XYZ were asked to leave the hospital and road premises twice. But mother of patient was very arrogant and started abusing doctor and staff with very bad language which were related to mother. Dr Ashwin Kakkar felt very bad and he requested uncle of Mrs XYZ to take away the abusive lady and other relatives. He also said if the relatives are not following the rules of hospital, you can take away your patient to other hospital as she was stable to shift because there were no signs of delivery. The uncle said he will take away the abusive lady and all relatives who were standing on roads. The entire matter was settled. But someone among the relatives who were standing down, called Mr Mahesh Gaikwad and told about this matter. And than he came with his workers and relatives to argue with Dr Ashwin Kakkar. The argument was very abusive and threatening. In the video, you can see the doctor is explaining calmly about the situation. But they were not ready to listen to the doctor.

*Few questions to be asked to Mr Mahesh Gaikwad*

1. As a responsible political leader, why didn't you asked the relatives to follow hospital rules. In this Covid pandemic, crowding increases the chance of spread of virus.

2. Why page was made live before starting the discussion. You were called to discuss and solve the issue. But in the entire dialogue, you never asked about well being of pregnant woman. You were more worried for relatives issue. As a gentleman, doctor was talking in very polite way but you seem to be busy with all bad words.

3. You said Dr Ashwin Kakkar was drunk. Than how can you keep your patient with such doctor. Why didn't you call police for his breath test for alcohol. The entire city of Kalyan knows Ashwin does not drink alcohol or smoke.

4. Why you require so many people with you when you go for any meeting.

*Now who is Ashwin Kakkar*

He is the same doctor who has not kept is hospital closed in entire covid pandemic. Till date he has delivered 2500 babies.

He is the same doctor who has delivered the pregnant poor lady who was refused by Shivaji hospital, Kalwa and came walking along the railway track from Kalwa to Kalyan. He did cesarean section and didn't charge single rupee for that. The news was viral on social, electronic and print media. Maharashtra government along with Municipal Corporation has appreciated his efforts.

He is same doctor who helps all needy pregnant women's.

He is the same doctor who goes to Siddhivinayak temple every Sunday.

Mr Mahesh Gaikwad... one kind request start your own hospital and serve the needy people... you will understand doctors problems.

A kind request to all
If you have any complaints about doctors, you can meet office bearers of respective medical associations. Discuss with them and solve it. Even if that does not help, approach police and other legal ways.

As a Association, we support our good doctors. We never support bad doctors.

We urge all cured, completely treated Covid patients of Kalyan Dombivali Municipal Corporation to fill this Google link. The data of covid patients will help us to collect Plasma for treatment of critically ill patients. Once donor is registered, our doctors will call the donor for proper scrutiny and to solve queries. All details in the link will not be shared with anyone. The drive is in three phases. First phase is for 7 days. All three blood banks (Plasma, Aajkal and Arpan blood bank) in KDMC are involved in this project.
