Even a small toy can cause a serious eye emergency...

A recent case at our centre reminds us how common household toys can cause serious eye injuries.

A patient sustained an injury to the lower eyelid due to a plastic toy (remote controller antenna).
With calm, patience, and confidence, Dr. Anand Parthasarathy managed the situation safely and effectively.

⚠️ Important Eye Safety Tips for Parents & Families:
• Do NOT try to remove any object stuck near the eye at home
• Avoid pressing, rubbing, or washing the eye forcefully
• Keep the child calm and still
• Seek immediate medical attention — eye injuries are emergencies
