The two-day Bougainvillea Festival (14–15 March 2026) was inaugurated today at the Botanic Garden, CSIR-NBRI, Lucknow, by Shri N.K.S. Chauhan, OSD, Chief Minister's Office, in the presence of Prof. Sunil Kumar Singh, Director, CSIR-NIO, Goa.

🌺 Highlights:
• 64 exhibitors with 209 entries in 20 competition categories
• Display of 300+ Bougainvillea varieties conserved by CSIR-NBRI
• CSIR Floriculture Mission stall showcasing floriculture initiatives
• Bougainvillea plants available for sale

🌼 The festival will conclude on 15 March 2026 with the Prize Distribution Ceremony, where Smt. Anandiben Patel, Hon’ble Governor of Uttar Pradesh, will be the Chief Guest.
