In 2006, Dr. Gitanjali Thakur, after Finishing her PG in Obstetrics & Gynaecology from St. Stephens Hospital Delhi, joined Kasturba Hospital, for an year. Then she was appointed as a Consultant at Government Hospital, Karnal. In 2011, she joined Thakur Hospital. She along with Obstetrics Work, had a fine experience in Cosmetic Gynae. She is the First Gynaecologist in the State to start Non Invasive Cosmetic Gynaecology, with excellent results in this field.
