Our Centre was originally established in 1933 by K.V. Ambu Vaidyar as a dispensing centre for homemade Ayurvedic preparations. V. He is the Govt.Medical Officer .

He is a key member in the direct lineage of a respected traditional Ayurvedic family with boon to heal infertility. In due course, members from his family earned academic qualifications in Ayurvedic Medicine and expanded the scale of their Ayurveda practice to enhance the well-being of their patients. Currently, the establishment is managed by Mr. Balakrishnan Vaidyar, the elder son of Ambu Vaidyar. Ambu Vaidyar 's younger son Dr. V. Rajeevan (B.A.M.S), graduated from the Govt. Ayurveda Medical College,pariyaram Kannur. He is also a consultant to his brother and recommends Dr. Neel Venugopal (B.A.M.S) as the Medical Director of the NursingHome. Currently, we have four Doctors on staff, including two female doctors, two Yoga therapists and ten Panchakarma therapists. This is another best part of us. . After establishing the Trikarpur Ayurveda Nursing Home in 1995, the never-ending prospect of Ayurveda has become apparent and realized. Now the new venture AYURJEEVAN AYURVEDA RETREAT is on construction in the backwater side of Edayilekkad island near to Valiyaparamba beach, one of the upcomming tourism spots.Here we provides family cottages,hospital with fullfledged infra structure ,yoga centre,fitness centre,shuttle court and also linked with the site seeing through backwater.

Yoga Poses and breathing
Breathing is an essential part of practicing yoga exercises. You should never hold your breathe during a pose. Also make sure that
your breath is never forced or strained. Labored breathing is sign that you you’re working too hard and should come out of the
pose slightly. When one starts practicing yoga, one can hold for three full breaths through most yoga poses. If you feel
comfortable in the pose, hold for longer, if uncomfortable, you should come out of the pose immediately.
