Psoriasis usually worsens in Winter! Here are some tips to keep psoriasis in control.
1. Keep Your Skin Moist
2. Soothe your Skin With lukewarm Baths
3. Exposure to Sunlight helps psoriasis lesions. So, it is yet another reason to enjoy sun in winter.
4. Try Not to Scratch and Pick- It aggravates psoriasis.
5. Stop Smoking and Alcohol.
6. Go Easy on Yourself- stress aggravates psoriasis.
7. Avoid harsh products like lotions with alcohol, deodorant soaps, and even some laundry soaps. These can inflame your sensitive skin. Feel the texture of the fabric of the clothes you buy. Make sure they are soft and comfortable. Avoid wool. They can irritate already inflamed skin.
8. Consult a Dermatologist. Discuss and plan an appropriate treatment strategy to control psoriasis.
