Teachers' Day is known as a significant event in India since it honours the birthday of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, who was the second President of India and was a highly regarded scholar and philosopher whose contributions to education have inspired generations of students.
Teacher's day is celebrated by students of AIMS, Khordha.

Today we observe Anti-ragging week. On this occasion there is a poster competition, rangoli, essay writing presented by GNM & B.Sc. Nursing students.
"Be the light in the darkness of ragging and shine ur campus. Like a fire burned the ragging and let's make a safe, peaceful campus". The college has a dedicated anti-ragging committee to prevent ragging at college campuse and hostels. The committee ensures Zero ragging inside the campus and say no ❌ to ragging.

India is set to commemorate its 78th Independence Day on 15th August. The nation achieved Independence from colonial rule on 15th August 1947, after a long-standing struggle spanning nearly two centuries of British rule. On this occasion the Affinity Institute of Medical Science, Khordha celebrated Independence Day, Flag hoisting by Prof. Bananee Dash (Principal, AIMS). students were done performing debate with patriotic dance and song.
